I’d love to see more women in motorsports. Sure, there have been a few Danica Patricks that have been mostly successful, but no female champions yet.

Exactly!
Brand new cars are brought in all the time to fix things, you just don’t hear about it. There are dedicated teams that go out and visit dealerships when cars come in with quality issues. Usually it’s more minor things, like wrong color trim pieces or wind noise, that come from defects in the assembly process.
Tesla will fix this for free once corporate gets a chance to check it out. That round end piece is a ball joint. I’m going to go out on a limb and say this is a supplier quality issue.
No way he was going 180mph, wonder where that number came from. IndyCars are only going 160mph at the point his accident happened and don’t hit 180mph until the end of the straight.
The bigger takeaway here is that Dodge, somehow, leads the PP100. I am missing something here?
Good lord, why? Who are these people?
No shit, some people have way too much $$
The only automaker whose car I would certainly never buy, even with unlimited resources, is Maserati. Even if gifted one, I’d give it away before the warranty expired.
You’re right, that’s a broad assumption. Of course there are owners who are aware just how much exotics cost. On the other hand, I watched a guy total a C7 Z06 at the track last year with no insurance. Saw him at an event a few months later with a brand new one.
Most people buying $100k new Porsches don’t care how expensive they are. It’s like buying a new Corolla to them. Thank them for spending their money so we can buy them used for 50% sticker 5 years later.
That’s a Panamera.
$330k per vehicle. What a deal....bet some Chevy execs will be getting a fat bonus. Hope that includes service for the life of each vehicle.
Cubic centimeters, so its just under 4L. Tax is based on emissions and displacement. You don’t see much american muscle in europe, partially for that reason.
Road tax rate for some countries in the EU is determined by displacement, which is why it’s called out.
Haha by the time they go that low, there will have been multiple sets of the cheapest coilovers available in that car’s lifetime.
Any configuration + $10k to account for moving to a state without vehicle sales and property tax. That $130k car is $8k in sales tax here, and then decreasing property tax on it every year, starting at $1600. Woof!
Those last 2 aren’t truck specific, so it seems pointless to include them unless its a marketing thing.
