You’re not going to suggest anything better?

Gonna back Tom’s suggestion on this one. A Cayenne is in your budget as well if the Macan is too small. They both handle very well for an SUV and are a great place to spend some time. Here’s a 400hp Macan Turbo for just under $40k.

“So if you are looking to bring home America’s sports car for under $60,000, you might find yourself waiting a bit longer.”

This can’t be good for the working class who rely on the bus system. Now they can’t get to work even if their workplace is still open. Hopefully the banks are lenient with mortgage holders, who will then be lenient with their tenants......but probably not.

We are the ones who are going to pay for it either way. Bailout or not, airlines will use this as yet another excuse to jack up airfares permanently. Remember when gas dropped? Airfare stayed the same, and pesky fees started popping up on top of that.

Surprise, surprise. The public will bail the airlines out to some extent and then the execs will pat themselves on the back with hefty bonuses. Privatize profit, socialize loss....big business as usual.

Think of it more as an R&D cost for their soon-to-be bolt on nitrous kit. Now you will know why the kit is so expensive when it is released.

Some offer a discounted rate at their driving school with purchase, like BMW.

Hobby driver Kimi Raikkonen...” Fucking LOL.

Normally I’m against government intrusion into our lives, but I wouldn’t mind seeing a 1 day performance driving course be a requirement of owning car over a certain power/weight ratio. Maybe there’s 90 days to complete a course after registering it or something or the registration become invalid.

“What’s that Spider-Man quote: “With great horsepower, don’t be a dick?”

VW either has something up their sleeve, or plain doesn’t think that Tesla is a competitor.

Lambo emblem on the ecotec is a nice touch, but anything more than $1 is CP territory. I wonder if there is a correlation between mental illness and shitty supercar replicas...

“It’s interesting that the Discovery Channel, a network which once focused on science, technology, and history has devolved in a way to air shitty reality television and science ignorant programming like this. Shame, that.”

Holy shit, thank you. Now if only this could be a televised public service announcement and headlight aim was a part of yearly safety inspections.

“Craig pointed out that not a single shooting has happened at one of these sideshows, which may reveal just how low the bar is in Detroit in terms of public safety.”

That snowy lot is a great representation of an average street after a decent snowfall. Some slush, ruts, couple bare spots and a bit of ice. Plus its the safest place to do a test like this without shutting down a public road.

Getting rid of all the buttholes who clog up the passing lane would be a good start.

The thought of anything British being relatively reliable is hilarious.
