She didn’t think to pop one of the emergency doors? It’s not like the airline is going to complain after the crew failed to secure the aircraft. Plus it would be fun!

Finally, F1 video links that aren’t blocked by the Liberty Media party poopers!

Don’t listen to these frugal fools. You’re young - now’s the time to enjoy what freedom you have left. Get something fun and/or impractical while you have no obligations, i.e, spouse and kids.

Surprising this took as long to figure out as it did, given the Supra dyno results.

I can translate. The co-driver is saying, “bring me my brown pants”

1st gear: Follow the money, it never lies. I’ve had this idea for awhile now - maybe time to test the waters. It is easier to sell things to people with money. Look at the shift over the last 10 or so years to “luxury goods”. The margins on luxury goods are much higher.

This seems a little excessive, then again, so are straight piped bikes whose riders gun it at every intersection. I’m all for that sweet sweet engine noise, but having to cover my ears from 50 feet away because you put a huge fart can on your beat ass civic is a bit much.

Tariff = tax. Who pays taxes to the US gov? We do.

This is spot on. I agree 100%. We are trained well and kind of expected to change groups every 3-5 years to get different experience in the company. More people than you think will stay here their entire careers.

He is an engine calibration engineer. He said all it would take is for his engine family to be discontinued and not be reassigned to another project for him to be gone.

What a $hitshow!

For sure, my buddy at GM says it’s a mess in some areas. From the sound of it, things are ran way better at my Japanese OEM. He’s been worried about random layoffs for a few years now, while I haven’t even been given a reason to consider that possibility.

I work for a big foreign OEM. There aren’t even whisperings of layoffs - just doubling down on new tech, cost down projects, and adapting to the future market. Our cars are manufactured in the US and are more US made than some Ford/GM products.

I work for a big OEM that has been doing design and pre production reviews for years with VR and AR, albeit with increasingly better tech.

Not that hard to believe. Insurance costs weren’t even mentioned in that article. I remember when I first got a car in 2005, that about half my take home pay from roofing in high school was going to insurance and gas. I work for a major auto manufacturer whose lease program includes insurance. Everyone with driving

I have only bought a few cars from dealers, so most of this experience is from helping friends. I think it’s better to go with a someone else anyways for an extra set of ears/eyes. This is the process:

Hamilton said that he was not worried about injury or death at all at some point in the movie, “1: Life on the Limit.” His predecessors certainly did not feel the same way. That was 2013, and safety has only improved since then. I’d take my chances in a high speed F1 wreck any day over a wreck during my daily commute.

3rd Gear: Nothing to see here, just business as usual.
