I recently decided I wanted to use my PS5 to play the PS4 remake of the PS2 game, Final Fantasy 12. I looked it up on the digital store: $40. I looked it up on Amazon: $20 for a physical copy with next day delivery. I went with Amazon.

This seems like the type of game with a great concept, but that becomes easily cheesable to the point that whatever team knows how to cheese best will always win, thereby destroying the flow of the game for any team that actually wants to play the game properly.
When I play video games, I like to sit. VR goes against this since most games you have to stand and walk around. It’s not that I am scared of exercise (well maybe a little), but that VR kind of breaks my norm of using games as a way to relax. I was an early adopter and had a Vive on day one.
I would settle for a remake of any of the old school Sierra adventure games. Quest for Glory in particular.
Organized crime via Yakuza is very different than American organized crime syndicates. Traditionally, Yakuza actually had somewhat of a prominent public image. Yakuza clans would even have a headquarters that would proudly display their clan logo in front for all to see. They still engaged in the same types of crimes…
Half of the games that are getting remasters now leave me wondering “Why?” The entire Jedi Knight series though would be an amazing remaster/remake opportunity.

It’s like people that watch the Superbowl for the commercials. You are right that lots of big announcements are going to come out during the year, and websites like Kotaku or Youtube are going to keep you up to date with most the big announcements. But, just like the Superbowl is when big companies start new…
E3 is crucial for a lot of publishers’ marketing strategies. E3 is where you tend to see lots of big games get officially announced and people officially board the hype train. This is also when most pre-orders (aka free money for untested products) start opening up.

There is a big difference between what these people are doing and the rampant counterfeiting that goes on in China. These people are creating software that interacts with a game. What these people are doing is essentially modding software. In a non-digital sense, they are making an accessory to another product. In US…
Zwis has a somewhat valid point here. To put things in perspective, probably about 5 years ago, my ultra-conservative parents announced to me that they werent interested in watching a new Robert DeNiro movie that had just come out because he was “too liberal”. The movie was a classic mob movie that had nothing to do…
How about the original unedited Star Wars movies. They existed on VHS tapes that after 20-30 years have degraded to the point where most VHS cassettes have gone bad. Due to stupid copyright laws, no one is really quite sure who owns the rights to them, and as a result, all we are left with is the special edition…
If you are a business that deals with non-tech people, Teams is ideal because most of the non-tech business world still runs on Windows based systems, and using MS software on a Windows machine is always easier for the non-tech inclined. I am not talking about installation, or basic troubleshooting. I am talking about…

Every Ubisoft game is essentially the same, whether it’s AC, Far Cry, Division, or even a racing game like The Crew. Create a MASSIVE map, throw in about 16 hours worth of actual storyline, and then flood the map with hundreds of POI’s, side quests, and collectibles.
Try researching gun control laws after the emergence of the Black Panther Party during the Civil Rights Movement, and specifically in CA. One of the initial functions of the Black Panthers was to monitor the police in the days before everyone had a video camera in their pocket. They meticulously researched gun laws in…
