I grew up Catholic. Every time you go in to a church, you are supposed to kneel before the crucifix before entering your pew. I never knew that I was being so disrespectful to God when I took a knee.

I also imagine that all those people that used to have to kneel before a king had a pretty good laugh knowing how bad

Sounds like Activision needs a lesson in optimization.

Ghosts of Tsuhshima proved this idea wrong.  That game was an amazing success.

I’m about 40 hours in playing on a dedicated server with friends. Everyone has kind of been doing their own thing here and there, and then every now and then, we all group up for a big adventure to go exploring.

The building system is as simple or as intricate as you want it to be. It takes 5 minutes to plop down a

I can totally understand why Disney is so protective about extending the copyright on a ninety year old mouse. Mickey is their corporate image, and if anyone on the street or a competitor like Time Warner could freely start using Mickey, it would be financially disastrous for the company.

I also agree though that

When I play games like this where there are constantly “good” or “evil” choices you have to make, I always do my first playthrough “good”. Then any subsequent playthrough I know to do as “evil” to get a fresh story.

You missed AOC’s best line of the day on this subject when Ted Cruz responded to AOC saying that he too would support Congressional hearings:

Rivain certainly sounds interesting, but I can’t imagine a DA game without some type of conflict, and can’t imagine how Rivain would keep its Utopian status without introducing the necessary conflict for a quality DA game.  By creating the conflict for the game, you destroy the Utopia, etc.

There are two other nearby vaults with a similar idea. One of the games is basically put-put, and the other game is cornhole. Both of them involve you having to use your Haephestos Might (I think that was the name of the ability) as a giant golf club to fling giant boulders around obstacles. Prior to

I am about 30 hours into the game on PS5. It’s still the PS4 version of the game I am playing though since the PS5 version isnt supposed to come out for several months, if at all....

As for the technical issues: 90% of the bugs are everything you would expect from a brand new Elder Scrolls or other massive open world

The game was originally supposed to release in April 2020, 8 months before the release of next gen.  Seems to me that the game should have been in development all along for last-gen.  But-for delays, pandemic, etc., the game would not have been released at all as a cross-gen game.

I agree 100%.  Kudos to CDPR for taking ownership of their mess and doing the right thing for their fanbase.  Good luck ever getting a corporate response like this from EA, Bethesda, or any other major publisher that has had crap games come out in the past several years.  I am sorry that Cyberpunk after so much wait

Retailers may not, but you know Sony and Microsoft have to be pissed. 3500 PS5's sitting in a scalpers’ “warehouse” in the UK is 3500 less PS5's owned by people would would actually be buying big titles for the new consoles this holiday.

A lot of people will simply wait to buy the new consoles when the prices normalize

I agree with this. I was fortunate to get one from Wal-Mart on release day during one of their scheduled windows. I then did all my xmas shopping on Walmart’s site this year. First time in years I have shopped at Wal-Mart.

The clutter of all of the stores in the Yakuza series stresses me out.  It’s like sensory overload.

One of Alfred the Great’s many legacies was the creation of the Anglo-Saxon Chronicle and his emphasis on trying to bring education back to society. One of the reasons the dark ages were so dark is that from the fall of Rome circa 430 CE until the Renaissance in the 15th century, you are absolutely correct, record

To add to this, the primary reason why consoles are stingy with whether they are backwards compatible is that the newer console must either include components of the previous generation’s hardware or be loaded with “emulation” software to mimic the hardware setup of previous generations.

All PS4 games were written

Emulators have never been illegal per se. An emulator is a piece of software that makes a machine think that it is either running a different operating system or comprised of different hardware.

When you buy a game, you are technically buying a license to use that software for a specific purpose, but you technically

I usually end up owning each console by the end of a generation.  Xbox One was the first console since the Ps1/N64 era that I skipped.  My reasoning was much the same as yours.  PS4 had better features, better exclusives, better services, and the few lures of the Xbox were available to me on PC.

My #1 request: HBO Max app. My only device that supported HBO Max was my Ps4. Then again, John Olliver is over for the season, so may just cancel HBO altogether.

Also, the PS4/5 game selection is VERY annoying. I am currently playing AC Valhalla. You have to have the PS4 disc in the system in order to access and
