Don’t forget the 24 year-old teacher tied to a cinder block at the bottom of a pond:

I’m not a fan of either of them, but she’s definitely the worst for filing for divorce a couple of days after his mother died. There’s really no excuse for that, especially when you know it will be all over the media.

Meh, I don’t like either of them but Amber is young and shouldn’t waste any more of her life and youth on this drunk mess.

It doesn’t mean that every character for whom race/gender isn’t important should be turned into a minority, but asking the question every time forces it to be a conscious decision instead of falling back to the default. Without it, the only female/black/gay/disabled/whatever characters you’d get in a lot of cases are

Is making a revision change partway through the design process really magical?

The script for Alien was written as unisex - the characters were only given surnames, so that the scriptwriters could tell prospective producers “you can cast pretty much whoever you want to chase whatever demographic”. This process resulted in Ripley, one of the strongest female characters in all of science fiction.

Characters are NEVER ready from the get go. NEVER.
They change as the development of a story progresses.
If tht seems too absurd for you, I would guess you are not involved with character creation.

But a good character should, in the majority of cases, remain a good character if they’re no longer a straight white male. Just because I make a character black, doesn’t mean I have to make it focused on racism, nor does a female character mean I have to focus on sexism etc. Most characters end up as white male

I think you missed the point. Why does “straight white male” HAVE to be the default? You ask why they would change something they came up with, well, because if the only reason they came up with it that way is because it’s subconsciously the default, then what's the problem with thinking about other directions you can

Diversity is a good thing. Looking at every character and seeing if they should be female seems complete crazy to me. It’s rare that the gender matters at all in games (I mean storywise, not representation),so how do you have that conversation?

Who can?

I think it is because bugs can’t typically stand up to the pressure of the beauty norms in LA.

Brandy Melville, that is, if u fit their sizing of XS-S.

It’s not like they sat there thinking “Donate to orphanage, or have a wedding - which shall we do?” That money wasn’t going to go to charity anyway.

Saw this bouquet at the UK Harry Potter wedding, and a book pages bouquet is ALMOST enough to make me want to get married again.

OK so, but, in some markets $65,000 isn’t that much to spend on a wedding (or at least, not that far over the average price). So at first I was like “oh that’s not that bad.” Then I saw the photos, then I looked up the average cost of weddings in Houston, and it seems they *are* a thrifty couple just by having their

I’ve been to some Catholic weddings + mass that I swear took a week to end.

Where do you live and is it nice there? In my city, 65k isn't even a downpayment on a shitty condo. It's so depressing!

the article says it was ten hours

I don’t know how to else to describe how happy this makes me without sounding like a fucking idiot so I’ll just say this.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
