Mary Sue? The new characters got nerfed hard in TLJ. It was two hours of them fucking up and realising they aren’t the hot shit they thought they were.

The game’s complete re-imaginging of the mythos is one of the best ones I’ve seen. it isn’t afraid to make bold changes that are fully story driven, and have serious consequences for the player down the line.

It’d probably do well, since it was a cheeky, self-aware game with humor that didn’t take itself seriously. Those translate well into movies these days

Just don’t fuck up Edge of Tomorrow 2 and in doing so retroactively diminishing Edge of Tomorrow (Live, Die, Repeat).
