Agreed, they do a really good job with casting. Phil Harman as Jiji is just about perfect.

I may have seen 2 almost as many times as I’ve seen the first one. For whatever reason the second one was in heavy rotation on tv when I was a kid. Around october, it seemed to be on every other day.
You are correct, Vick is only remorseful that he was caught. I’m sure he would have no qualms about killing a dog right now if nobody knew about it. Same with Louis CK, had this situation not hit his pocketbook, he’d still be acting like a creep towards women. I guarantee you he still has those impulses.
I like to image that Bill Paxton’s character in Predator 2 is the great-great-grandfather of his character in Aliens.
I like your ranking. I’d put ASM above SM3, but that’s just personal taste.
The CGI doesn’t hold up (it was iffy even by 2004 standards), but I thought Casshern was a really good movie.
Jigsaw wasn’t in the Thomas Jane Punisher movie, he was in the Ray Stevenson one. But I do agree they tried to mash together stories that just didn’t fit.
Vidoq was a really good movie. I remember when they said Pitof was directing Catwoman, I thought that was a good choice. Then I saw the ads and was like “nope”.
Given her elastic powers would allow her to take any shape she wants, I’d say the big butt and thick thighs look is by choice.
The erratic scheduling of this show (and other CN shows) over the past few years has gotten kind of annoying. Instead of the usual season of a new episode every week for a few months, they just randomly dump a bunch of episodes all in one week, then do it again months later when you’ve half-forgotten what the hell was…
It just felt like stuff we’ve seen before, like PB vs Lemongrab or PB vs The King of Ooo.
“I did not know, until researching for this recap, that the version of “Street Life” heard here and in Jackie Brown was not the Crusaders’ 1979 original, but a Doc Severinsen re-recording for the Sharkey’s Machine soundtrack (1981), with Randy Crawford reprising her soaring vocals.” I’m guessing you have not been…
I love Clarence, I think it’s really underrated.
I’ll be honest, until tonight I dont think I’ve watched a new episode in well over a year. I probably saw a few after the Marceline special, and like you said, it just felt like it was running out of steam. So parts of tonight’s episode meant nothing to me, for example, I don’t even know what the whole war with…
Just curious, where would all of you rate Adventure Time amongst all of CN’s original programming? At one point I would have easily said it was their greatest achievement, then later on stuff like Over the Garden Wall and Steven Universe kind of jumped to the top of my list. But on the other hand, you cannot…
On one hand, I kind of felt that Adventure Time went on too long and might have benefited from wrapping it up a year or so ago, going out on top while it was still in the height of popularity (kind of like how Gravity Falls did). But on the other hand, it was such a great show, and I’m also sad to see it go. At least…
Even more bizarre, the “Ice King” who married Turtle Princess in the end was Gunter who wished himself to be Ice King.
I know, I was just making a joke. Truth be told I used to work with a guy who was convinced the moon landing was fake, and he was about as leftist as they come.
I dont see the problem. Don’t most right-wing flag wavers think the moon landing was fake anyway, along with the Earth being flat and only 3000 years old?
No kidding, right? I had assumed he started out in stand-up like a lot of In Living Color stars did.
