@Ryan Lawyer: I paid the people who made the mug like I paid the people who made my phone. Imagine being charged for every driver installation to use your printer with each device you own. You don't pay for the corresponding software for your hardware! It's madness.

@adamvacancy: Ehhhhhh. I find that hard to swallow for 2 reasons. 1. They are selling an appliance, not a service. My coffee pot is an appliance, and I don't get charged to be able to use it with my thermos, then my mug, then my other mug. They made their money when they sold the device. An Android client just opens

To be realistic, that's going to be the answer to everything that was left out for 3G users. They left things out because the old phone is insufficient to keep up the level of performance Apple demands, while running those things.

@dragon:ONE: Agreed on the $30 client. I guess since they don't get a recurring fee, they try to milk it for each device you try to stream to.

@dragon:ONE: Maybe you're not getting the whole Slingbox picture. A Slingbox feeds you your channels from your TV, to your phone, laptop, etc. (Think VNC for your cable box.)It even has a programmable remote infrared device that will flick the channels for you on your box. That's kinda worth $180 to a lot of people.

@Jimmy1: Yessir. Android VLC FTW. Nonetheless, RP is good.

Coincidence. I just found out about this a few days ago, on an Android forum, when looking for a good video player. It's not very publicized (well, until now). I find it very useful. Worked with no problem on stock EVO. Great minds think alike!

@Farscyde: Just ask what's more likely to exist ever: Cyborgs or Magic?

@stopNgoBeau: Sure, but if you had done that with any other game system ever, it would not have been an issue. It's not your fault, man. It's not your fault!

I loved the original libretto so much, I'd almost order this just based on the name. They'd have to drop the price first.

I love my 360 and it's my only system. However, anyone who thinks the users were at fault for all of the RRODs is completely ignorant on the topic. MS screwed up on the first 1or 2 versions of the 360, and no amount of proper ventilation was going to save them.

I really think the best way to enslave people is to give them something they like, treat them badly, reward them afterward, treat them badly again, and repeat. Throw in a little "make-them-work-for-it," and you are golden. Some of my fondest memories are of the really hot girls throughout my life who treated me like

@DirtyDogg: wait, they don't mail you a floppy?

@Arggh! there goes a...snake a snake!: I'm sure if you go far enough back, refs were pommeled for that kind of call. Can we reinstate that? When I saw Ireland get gypped, I felt the same way. It made me have less respect for the sport. "Sport" implies fair play.

@Domenico De Francesco: Yeah, I bet Ireland didn't think this way after the French handball. It's an American thing.

Jesus, I have never in my life agreed with more than I do right this minute.

@NotSure2010: If the government only did what we told them to, you'd have a country run by a bunch of people who have no formal experience running a country. If we were a true democracy, we'd have lasted about 5 years before we collapsed. Leadership is a skill not possessed by everyone.

@doctorrobert: OK, let's look at this reasonably. A. if you think no one has put forth proposals on this, you're misinformed. Just search for it on Google. Proposals abound. Anyone can propose anything. It doesn't add validity to an opinion. It also doesn't mean the best idea will be implemented, even if proposed.
