Rosa, that's the Beefsteak Charlie. The Pedostache is different. :-)

It doesn't take a genius to remove those ridiculous pop-ups. It takes someone to say "Hmm, we're making a bajillion dollars doing what we're already doing. Lets improve it anyway, and risk upsetting people with the new way."

@ArseneKarl: What you're saying isn't wrong per se; but every company gets called out by the blogs for talking out of both sides of its mouth, except Apple, until now. On one hand they say ads distract from content, and on the other, they feed their own ads to apps, which are still content. You can't bash ad providers

@bill cant fart: That, and be able to type insightful comments with one hand.

@Eryq: Sadly, regardless of whether he has kids, what he said is correct. I have worked in several schools, and I can tell you that regardless of the parenting skills, once the kid leaves your house, you can't stop his seedy classmate with a smartphone from bringing up nudies for all to see.

But iAds? Innovative, compelling, interactive and—on a platform which disallows browser plug-ins like Instapaper—completely unignorable.

I think it's lovably ugly, and a great phone. It's sleek. This is not an iPhone or EVO competitor, so let it go! Not everyone wants that.

@Dru: You can flick songs or answer a call by waving for a sec w/o looking. Like giving someone the finger. It's safe.

@KevnWrn: The average IQ is 100, and Budweiser is the best-selling beer. Number of sales =/= how good the device actually is.

@CIM: ..microsim, smallest screen in the pack, 4:3 aspect ratio, AT&T, VGA front cam (0.3 megapixel), no vid chat on 3G, no removable storage, no removable battery, proprietary charger. Yeah, it's awesome.

I thought the EVO was recording 720p at 25fps, not 20.

They should disguise the iPad's adapters as testicles so people don't know you had to buy them for functionality...

Look at Ms. Vader's hand. That's not your throat that she's using the force on!

EVO EVO EVO

@Ph0Xy: Ironically, Apple has a tighter control over their app store, yet it arguably has more frivolity.

I'm posting this from an EVO, and let me tell you, the hardware for Android is there. Don't even get me started on the screen.

@AnAppleADay...: Aarg me too... And I thought tabbed mobile browsing was a good thing.

@Nintendo Tim: FYI there is no 4g near me yet either, but I am still paying less than I was on ATT, even with tue EVO's surcharge. Then when 4g appears, bonus!

@Ninety-9: Bah. I respectfully disagree with your 300 dpi statement. If it sells phones, then more power to them, but this seems unnecessary for any perceivable results, let alone perceivable enough to be worth it. This strikes me as the equivalent of $1000 headphones, for your eyes.

@illegaloperation: Oddly enough, as someone who didn't like all the other iPhones, I like the design on this one a lot.
