Dear Ford,
Dear Ford,
Years of watching the Dukes of Hazzard taught me those doors don’t actually open.
Counterpoint, the EV component mitigates the wear and tear on ICE components. I’ve read of accounts of NYC taxis (hybrid escapes) running hundreds of thousands of miles on original components because they go heavily on EV and regen.
I wouldn’t say any. Toyota has been doing this for ages, and theirs are amongst the most reliable cars on the market.
“Maybe because Ford thinks EVs and digital sales go together?”
Still an attractive car from the outside and I probably would have bought one years ago if it wasn’t for the quirky dash. This dash however makes me want to drive the car... to the crusher.
There is no capacity change. I would say the title of this article is misleading, but it’s more so just unequivocally false, and can be disproven with 30 seconds of research.
Eh, is it really any sillier than a Muscle car that only goes to Car shows? or a Supercar that never goes to the track? Or an F-150 that never hauls anything?
So it’s an actual truck—meant for getting stuff done by hauling a lot of stuff—I love it. Such a welcome sight compared to those overbearing crew-cab sedans with the exposed trunks that now pass for “trucks”.
It’s not the same at all. A private school is just that; private. The state limiting access to abortions, or “don’t say gay” is all the government encroaching on the rights of citizens. They are not remotely the same at all.
It’s not just about snow. Winter tires perform better below 45 degrees. At any rate, the snow tires may be $500 up front, but they are prolonging the life of your all-seasons/summers. The difference in cost is minimal over the life of both sets of tires.
Huzzah for the lower beltline / being able to see out of the vehicle. One of the worst design features of cars in the last decade or so was the high beltline with short windows. I know the “Security Moms” like them, but I wanna see out of my frickin’ vehicle...
I sell thousands and thousands of cars.
Yes, but think of all the time they almost saved! Seconds!
You know what? When you count on ABS and just mash the pedal, that’s exactly what happens. When you mash the brakes without ABS, the same thing happens. But when you threshold brake and don’t flat spot your tires by locking them up, you tend to stop in a straight line.
If Mazda keeps the pop-ups I will buy one even if this car is propelled by a twisted rubber band.
I agree - they are kinda quick, but not as quick as they should be with 310hp. My 230hp 128i feels a lot faster, albeit with a stick. Had lots of rental-grade Mustangs over the years. They are really rather unrefined, though better as coupes.
I had a heckuva time finding a decent profile shot of this thing to get a good look at it. Nearly everything out there was some oblique angle shot, dark lighting that made it hard to see, bright lighting with tons of glare off the shiny bits, action shots, shots with effects, or combinations of all of the above. A…
