She’s the one who is airing her grievances in public, not expecting people to have opinions about statements that public figures make in public is pretty silly.  I mean, you’re typing as many words about this whole thing as anyone else, is it your business and nobody else’s or can we all express our opinion?

If she is being abused or mistreated, that’s not cool. And I side with labor over capital. I support her being in a union and having that union be strong. I don’t see her employer doing anything rising to the level of mistreatment here, though.

I mean, if “provides gender affirming care to trans children in consultation with a doctor” is sufficient evidence of abuse to take people’s children from them and throw them in jail, Cruz probably deserves the death penalty for this.

Shatner rode the coattail of an unprecedented kind of fandom to reach his level of fame. Credit where credit is due, but Shatner owes as much to Trek as anyone. The rest of them all know or knew it; Shatner never seemed to have received the subspace message.
