I’m on my way off the Apple train. First, I’ve mostly been using Boot Camp on my MBP lately. I’m in the process of custom building an i7 desktop for vive for less than the low end MBP.

The $500 up-charge for the touch bar model is the best part. You can buy a perfectly solid computer for that alone.

After 3 days of playing Zelda on Switch, I have zero issues with it’s performance. The author seems to want to complain on everything he possibly can about this device, so that biased aproach make it not trustworthy.

The system is a Nvidia Tegra X1 basically. So we have an idea of what it is capable of. That said it was a port of a game written to much different hardware. So too soon to tell.

Consoles with LCD’s will always have dead pixels. It’s not some launch only issue that they fix 6+ months down the road. It’s just a thing with LCD’s. Unless they hire hundreds of people to turn on and play each individual unit before packing and shipping it, they’re not going to be rid of dead or stuck pixels.

Those “fools” are the people who enable new consoles to be made. If everyone followed your sage worthy advice, nothing new would be released.

Jason, PHENOMENAL review. I was a bit meh on the Switch after the review the other day, but this game sounds generationally important, like Witcher 3, Symphony of the Night, or Super Metroid.

This is such a well written review. I think you’ve convinced me to get a Switch (it takes me months to beat a game so one game isn’t an issue for me)
