I honestly wouldn't blame giz for this directly; Sam has had a very public hatred for the Note, nobody really knows why except that its not an iPhone and its big and has a stylus. yes its too big for me' but that doesn’t mean I hate it; I think its actually kinda cool some of the things it can do.

some of the things that I've seen it do are preety cool honestly; even the things that require the stylus; Oh well' I too rock the Nexus and find it to be wonderful.

so whats really wrong with the note? it has a big screen and a stylus? is that really a good reason to crap on something as much as you do?

I would imagine you've not seen Dumb and Dumber...too bad

Honestly the biggest reason I've heard from people who still dont have a smart phone is that they dont want to pay another 30 a month for the data plan when they have internet at home.

Maybe "his girls" was just code for his mistresses...maybe?

Maybe, or it could be a sick joke, a piece another cheap wp7 phones and they show a pic of one of the most expensive phones in the market lol

I love how this post about windows phone is headlined with a picture of a Samsung galaxy nexus running the windows phone 7 preview...classic

+1

all of those things I would agree on most Android phones, however if you buy one that is more than 100 on contract you will get good performance; My Galaxy Nexus, runs circles around my iPhone 4 (and My brothers 4S) I have had iPhone’s, and android phones, and I've hated most of them. But my Nexus is superb, I'll

True I'll give you that, I guess just because I jumped right to the science behind the tip; doesn't mean that other people did as well. It also doesn't mean that other people did and decided to rip it anyway; such is the nature of the internet.

Yeah, I'm not saying I put it in the sink (though I have) but I think what people should focus on, is the principal; not the poor advice of the sink. I prop my phone against my tile wall, this apmplifies the sound but doesn't pose the same risk as the sink. I just think most of the points people are trying to get

wow I just read through comments, and there are alot of haters here... just be smart about it this isn't for everybody.

Agreed, but I'm scared to put my Galaxy Nexus in the sink so Instead I prop it up against the tile wall, same basic effect Just not quite as much amplification; but I'll take the trade off.

I"m sure I didn't, lol I'm at work, have always had issues commenting when I'm not logged in; it was meant to be a general comment. I'm no Microsoft lover, but just in general I think its funny when people are mad at companies for Making money. granted there are ethics and so forth so we can all still get mad at

I always like reading comments from people who are so offended that a company would dare charge for its products, or try and make money.

to be fair, I would say people who use Linux are more tech savvy than both, for me; it would be windows/ubuntu for my desktop and osx for my laptop. That way you can get the best of all three and don’t have to worry about being a blind fan boy of any of them. Doing so means you can just sit back and laugh at all the

"You may say that the $100M lawsuit against HTC didn't gain them anything, but it did. It is now more expensive for HTC to make Android phones, as they are paying Microsoft protection money to do so. "

I rock between 5 to 6 GB, but I listen to pandora/google music all day at my desk, and our "open" wifi doesn’t quite reach it, I have it until I walk through the door to my department, then it fades away. outside of that, I dont use hardly any data on my phone, and if I had wifi at my desk would probably use less

for me its just that I'll never buy a pre built desktop, Laptop sure, but those are not as easy to build yourself. that and Dell has gone south in the last decade; I built (well ordered and configured) a Dell Dimension 8200 for my friend in 2001, He's still using the thing; but I can’t count on two hands how many
