Have you actually sat down and used a touchpad outside of the store? The WebOs UI is by far the best, and the OS is 100% open, HP even embraces the homebrew community; unlike apple who fights it every step of the way.

It’s the same resolution as the screen in the iPad, there practically the same screen, maybe you just need glasses cause I read on my Touchpad all the time with no issue.

What I want to know, is have any of you actually sat down and used a touchpad outside of playing around with it at the store? I sold my ipad because it was cumbersome when going from one task to another, if I was doing something that involved multiple apps, I would give up and pull out my laptop. That is not the case

the iPad can "Multitask" but it’s done so painfully IMO, but I’m in love with a tab nobody has yet mentioned, the HP Touchpad, I sold my iPad so I could get one, and I do not regret it the Touchpad is young still but it is by far my favorite. The way it handles multitasking, just makes all other attempts by other

You should start adding Webos apps to this thing.

I agree, if we could just get some support for this thing, It has the potential to be the best!

Oh dont get me wrong, I have a pre plus and a pixi plus at home, the only reason I dont use them as often is the support. however I do often switch back and forth. Webos is the best IMO, I know others wont agree but thats why its my opinion.

I dont get it, Webos is, IMO the best os out there, the only problem with it is that nobody supports it. It does multitasking better than anybody else, it does notifications better than anybody else, it's synergy system is amazing! the backup system is second to none. I dont know why nobody wants to support it. the

"True Christians" cannot help what other people do; we only have to live with the consequences of their actions. Because I'm a Christian I am now lumped in with a group of murderers, thanks. Oh by the way, I have plenty of gay friends; but since I don’t do all the things you like to read about in the news you'll

Thanks for grouping an entire religion in with a very minute group of misguided fanatics that represents absolutely 0% of actual Christ believers. however I have little trouble believing that you would also spend the better part of three years of your life performing some ridiculous and crazy stunt like this to prove

wow he waited 3 years just to prove how much of a dick he is, good job

off topic but the new layout still sucks, thats all

At this point the only thing to do is lick your wounds and go back to what worked, instead you know there going to try and paint this pile of shit yellow and call it gold, too bad I liked this site, looks like I"m off to ca.gizmodo.com and/or uk.gizmodo.com

I agree, that is the very reason why that philosophy will not work in this situation, its plain and simple Giz, and gawker in general is going to lose allot of readers because of this, I just hope they realize this and fix it before I completely jump ship, thank God of Uk.gizmodo and Ca.gizmodo or I would have to

We can all comment till were blue in the fingers but if it hasn't happend yet, do we really think they will change it back? I for one really hope they do, however I'm not going to hold my breath, they prolly think "they bitch about when facebook changes its layout but eventually get used to it, the same thing will

It seems to me that Gawker is not listening to its readers, I have not heard a single positive review form the new site and yet it remains the same. I guess this is a case of "but we made and so it must be good" because I have just read alot of comments about how bad this is and they still seem to be proud of it. lmao

agreed, I find I read this site about half as much as before, not out of spite, I just do not enjoy it as much as I did before the redesign.

I have had the iphone on ATT and I now have the iphone on Verizon, I have to say the fact that I get 3G no matter where I go (it seams) greatly makes up for the fact that I cant use data and talk at the same time. with ATT it seamed I only had 3g in certin areas, this made that feature quite pointless. with Verizon
