I believe you are mistaken. The water pump on the LT1 is cam driven, and there are no fans connected to it.

My 21-year old Roadmaster is still on its original optispark, despite two waterpump failures soaking it. The vented version (95-96) is just fine.

The LT1 is hardly shitty.

Any car that runs, drives, and passes inspection with a minimal amount of body rot with an LT-1 in it passes muster for me. That engine is a jewel, and upgrades are cheap and plentiful. The transmission is most like a 460LE, which is a very smooth and very common box. NP.

I took the folding top completely off my MGB. I mean, what’s the point?

I’d rather buy a similar age/mileage GTI and keep the $3k difference. CP.

They added a vent to the Opti for 1995-1996. That’s it. It still sits directly underneath the water pump’s weep hole.

I have RA, and still drive a wagon, because that’s a lame excuse.

Wagons are practical. SUVs are just hatchbacks and minivans for people with vanity issues.

Are the drivers’ doors on all of them painted a different color than the rest of the car? That’s not even close to a match.

I disagree. The Porsche sponsored content is getting excessive, and for the most part, I do not find it interesting. More than one sponsored post on the front page at a time is annoying.

I personally went with Burger Tuning’s piggy-back tune, the JB4. On 93 Octane, it puts the 1.8T in the Sportwagen slightly above a stock GTI. APR, Unitronic, Cobb, and several others offer ECU tunes that put the 1.8T around 270hp with no bolt-ons. There are guys who have gotten the 1.8T over 300hp with an IS20

I made my own GTI wagon. GTI front bumper and fog lights, performance package sway bars, and a tune.

VW/Audi engines...light? Hahaha, that’s a good one. They’re mostly iron blocks. The 4-cylinder 2.0T weighs about as much an 8-cylinder LS1. Light they most certainly are not!

I’m no DSM fanboy, but the Laser is hardly “meh”. 195hp in a 2,500lb car is pretty fun.

That’s just a Mitsubishi, ya dangus.

I got so bored with the Pilot that I gave up reading about it less than halfway down the page. I can’t remember the last car I found so disintresting.

Any ideas who sells this dong fence? Asking for a friend.

I like that the owner posted a picture of the car in it’s natural habitat: the shop. CP.

Were it not for the angled b-pillar, this basic shape is probably very similar to the drawing you were doing at the time. Good stuff.
