Look how spotlessly clean those boots are. They’re fresh out of a box. Did he get carried there by some indigenous porters like he was in the countries where he killed animals?

I never want to hear “influencer” again. It’s hard enough to keep a straight face at work when I hear it.
Can we please retire the word “influencer”??? (And while we’re at it, “creative” as a noun?)
That’s pretty funny.
Never worth it unless it’s on sale and you have a 20% off promo code. By the time the thing you wanted goes on sale and the promo code is available, you’ll have talked yourself out of half your impulsive wish-list items.
THIS. I wasted a lot of money on their items, only for them to arrive in need of repair or to fall apart after one wear/wash. I must have purchased 50 or so things from them, only to have a jacket (with a broken zipper), a struggling t-shirt, and a hoodie to show for it.
Lionel Richie style, all night long.
I have often wondered what will happen. I don’t want her to go. She’s the last of her kind.
This is comment I see most often in negative reviews, and it’s stopped me from buying a bunch of times.
I have a few pairs of leggings from them that I love, but whenever a dress I like goes on sale it’s never in my size. I shop torrid, lane bryant and swak designs much more often.
My favourite dress is from ModCloth, but it’s the only thing I’ve bought from there that worked. I’ve bought about four items, all the same size, all with a different fit or other inherent issues.
Yeah, cute as hell, but I could rarely afford to actually purchase anything.
They source their clothes from multiple independent vendors...that’s why their clothes are like, size four or size eight? It just depends on the original designers.
Exactly. Like, maybe this is why your business is faltering? I have only ever made one order, and that was in 2009, but every single piece was sent back because the fabric was gross and cheap and the construction was poor and the fit was so fucked up (granted, I am very thin, but one dress was an XS and I could…
Yeah, the stuff was only ever worth it on sale for 30% or more off. Most of my work wardrobe is from Modcloth shopping sprees during flash sales and Black Friday deals. Guess I’ll have to find another place to outfit myself in the coming years :(.
I just saved everything I liked into my shopping bag and would then go back after a bit and buy only stuff that had made it to clearance that was in my size. :D
Not only did I have some issues with quality, I’ve found that their core type of products has changed recently. Maybe it’s just me, but from browsing their stuff weekly, I’ve noticed that their retro/vintage clothes have been increasingly replaced by more modern fits, bridal, and eveningwear styles (which, of course,…
Yeahhh, gotta say that their longtime habit of not listing the brand and renaming the style felt a little shady. I think they remedied this in recent years, but I remember the deep shame felt when a pair of shoes showed up at my doorstep and turned out to be by Jessica Simpson.
I’ve heard that a lot of their quality issues are hit or miss depending on the manufacturer. The two dresses I have from them are good but not great, and I can see why reviewers sometimes complain about how cheap their stuff feels.
Right? Why is this such a problem for most people to figure out? Do try eShakti. Been happy with all their stuff so far.
