She is really an amazing person and deserves all the credit for her service to this country.

Amazingly, Kirk’s most consistent complaint about her is that she hasn’t accomplished anything. I get that Congress hasn’t done shit, but that’s not because Duckworth is lazy, it’s because the GOP won’t do anything other than vote to defund the ACA or investigate Benghazi.

That’s what my husband taught me to do. Someone degrades you in front of others? Sit. Let those words hang in the air. Let other people ponder all the angles from which it was completely offensive. Watch said offender’s career sink.

She is a frontrunner for Democratic presidential nominee in 2024 (or, heaven forbid, 2020). I don’t see many that could knock her off if she decided to run.
