I only use firm or extra firm tofu when I’m roasting it, or any other application where you’re supposed to press the tofu first. 

This technique mostly applies to firm/extra firm tofu, right? There’s a fantastic dish that’s crispy on the outside and custardy on the inside using soft tofu but I’m pretty sure that’s deep fried only.

It’s funny how every time I read a story about San Francisco and its economic woes, you could just sub in “Seattle” and the story would still make perfect sense because this place is turning into a dollar-store knockoff version with a similar “Mark Twain winter” climate.

wouldnt matter here in texas.  they passed a bill to let businesses refuse service to anyone for any reason.  then a business refused to let chicfila be a part of their business so we passed an addendum to that special law so you couldnt refuse chicfila. 

I’m not aware of anybody filing a charge on the issue specifically with being carded and not served anyway after they show ID. Which isn’t surprising— like, 1) who would think it’s big enough of a deal to file a charge over, and 2) why would it happen in a city where bartenders are used to seeing IDs from all over,…
