I missed you.

We would sneak out during sleepovers and wander my (very safe) suburban neighborhood and go over to a 24 hr diner. I never understood how parents slept through half a dozen or more giggling 13-14 year old girls going out the back door. Only now do I realize, that adults are just really fucking tired most of the time.

Amen to that. My mother was shamed for having gotten pregnant in HS. She was sent to an awful late 1940s Catholic home for fallen women. Her child was taken from her a few weeks after he was born. For a few weeks the nuns had the moms breastfeed their infants, why not save on formula, right? Then, one day, her baby…

Also, this wasn’t in a rough part of town. Mostly college students live in this area.

Same here. Nerdy get-togethers with friends to play roleplaying games and video games, then we’d wander out at Oh God O’clock in the morning and grab dinner/breakfast at whatever all night place was available. No alcohol, no drugs, no criminal behavior.

I would say “Why were assholes shooting up the place” is a more serious concern than “Why was innocent bystander out in public at a time I deem inappropriate despite having any context on the situation.”

I live in Lexington and Cookout is a popular 24 hr place that most kids (high school and college) go to get a late night bite. I’ve been there at 4am many nights in my college days, especially on weekends.

For those who don’t know, Cookout is right next to UK’s campus, surrounded by student housing. It’s not like your corner bar or liquor store, just a regular fast food joint. This also isn’t the first time gun violence has occurred there. It’s a popular spot to get food late at night.

She was at “Cook Out”. As an ardent fan of Cook Out over the past 10 years, when you need a Cook Out milkshake, you just have to get it. No matter the time. This is 100% completely understandable.

Thinking about all the idiots who are going to say “But what was a 15-year-old doing out at 4 a.m.” is already making me so mad.

Listen, if there’s any positive thing to come out of this election it’s that these people are coming forward and identifying themselves. What we gotta do now is wait til the election is over, find these people, tag their ears, and notify the general public that those who are tagged are not to be trusted as teachers,…

As others have said before me...he should be forced to carry this unviable campaign to term. His (political) life is in danger? Too bad, so sad. That precious, precious presidential campaign is alive (even if hideously deformed and its death is both inevitable and painful for those that love it). It would be murder …
