That Honey/Black Swan EP was my favorite. I collected all of ‘em back in the day (I even have the Strange Fruit one somewhere!)

I’m voting ‘Honey’ and somebody better take ‘Precious Things’ all the way to the bank.

RIGHT?! She is so damned smart and funny. She could be the late night, zero fucks given alternative to Ellen.

The only time I ever hurt myself from flailing too hard (as opposed to being hurt by someone else) was at a NIN concert - the one they did with Bowie. GHGHGHGHGHG.

I have now listened to this like 30 times, or however many times it's possible to listen to it considering you only posted it 58 minutes ago.

Huzzah!

THE GREATER GOOD (the greater good)

Your eyes are the definition of 'sparkly.' :)

I agree that it's complicated. Like, I'm an unusual looking woman who has often been called beautiful. After years of a stressful career, much of which has been indoors, I look at myself and see the burden of how I've spent my life - my skin seems flabby, my eyes tired, my hair thinning, all due to stress. But when I

Yep...all the animators I work with always agree that ‘Mulan’ remains one of Disney’s best efforts - not only for its extraordinary calligraphic background art, but how dark and intense it is - and hey! No princess! No wedding! IMAGINE THAT.

She also pretends to fart and suck dick! Last night my husband and I watched ‘Teaching Mrs. Tingle’ JUST so we could admire her rack in those silk jammies she wears. WHY ARE YOU SO AMAZING HELEN MIRREN.

+10

I agree. Everyone told me it was the second coming, but frankly, having just come off of having my eyeballs pleasantly excoriated by season 1 of Hannibal, everything about TD seemed a bit meh.

That gif is oddly similar to the one making the rounds today of someone hitting their golden retriever in the face with food he can't catch.

There are few things in life as visually pleasing/amusing/potentially bloody as a paw cautiously stretched under an object, gently patting at another object.

That is an extraordinary child, right there. Full stop.

I'm good with Pascal and Polley doing justice to this - I bet they'll make it powerful with just a bit of an edge to it, which might be nice (i.e. conflict, isolation, death). But the 1994 movie is, for me, on an emotional par with getting a hug from my mom. Every year when the weather changes in late fall I play it

Lincoln for President.

When I show that to my film students they all fall over laughing as well. I do it at the end of a lecture about how Hitch was always sticking it to the censors because BALLER.

Yeah it doesn't get any better than that.
