As a child of the 70's this song and the Eagles "I Can't Tell You Why" were ubiquitous. Sometime in the 80's I came to the realization that both songs were actually sung by men! Blew my mind.

Now playing

Here is a shortie, but a goodie as far as tea songs go.

It looks awesome. Each kid decided at a different time that they were ready to go and then the other would chicken out. They have promised to go on if we go back.

Blue Oyster Cult Story! When I was a kid growing up on Long Island there were stories of Blue Oyster Cult playing surprise gigs at little clubs on LI in their 70's heyday under the alias "Soft White Underbelly". By the time I was in college in the 90's they were playing the same clubs and being billed as "Blue Oyster

I went last week with my kids, 9 and 12 years old. Got to the Kingda Ka/Zumanjaro section and said which do you want to go on first? They said neither. Told them "You have to go on at least one. Pick." They thought about it and chose Zumanjaro. Both were scared silly getting on and exhilerated when we got off. It was

over the last 6 months or so, I have come to the realization that Tom Petty is the most taken for granted artist we have. Consistently puts out solid work and is an amazing lyricist. As I get older, songs of his I have listened to for years suddenly become clear in their meaning.

I think I read somewhere that Darryl Hammond said that there were several times Pardo was sick and he jumped in and did the intros as Pardo and no one besides the SNL staff could ever tell.

Holy crap! I clicked on all replies and ever embedded video started playing at the same time. WTF?

Reunion talks came to a standstill when Ed refused to stop sneaking his friend into games under his extra long jersey.

The Maron interview was so eerie and even the Louie ending turned out to be sad in hindsight.

Somewhere, Buddy Ryan is feeling vindicated.

It's too bad they couldn't talk him into coming back and are now looking for another super fan. As big of an idiot as he is, "Fireman Ed" has a better ring to it than "Unemployed Steve".

About 20 years ago I saw Don King walking out of a townhouse in NYC. Me and my buddy were like "Lets go talk to him." Then he started yelling at some of his security guards. Screaming at them. Don King yelling loudly is very scary. We kept walking.

Just watched Live at the Met. I remember seeing it as a teenager and being blown away. It is a little dated now, but the energy and brilliance are still evident. Gotta admit, the end of the set before he comes out for the encore had me tearing up.

Agreed. Just did a search and there is nothing upcoming, but I will keep my Foster Grants searching the horizon.

Theatrical release or edited TBS version? Because the TBS version is not without its charms.

You have to remember that it was originally "Jaws 3-D" back when it was released.

I am of Irish heritage and grew up and have lived most of my life in the NY area. Had a job where I covered a large chunk of the mid-west for a couple of years. I was shocked at the amount of casual and not-so-casual anti-semitic comments that people just tossed off in normal business conversations. It was amazing.

Speaking of snakes, came back from getting coffee this morning and there was one sitting right in front of the front door of my house. Didn't see him until I was right on top of him and he tried to bolt. I jumped sky high and luckily held onto the coffee. Damn snakes. St. Patrick had the right idea.

Just saw Guardians of the Galaxy with the family. Loved it. Came home and took the dog for a walk. One of the stars of the movie came walking down the middle of the street towards me and Fido. (Hint - It wasn't Groot) We hightailed it home. Hope the dog was finished because I ain't going out there again until morning.
