Nah. I think the brand’s most iconic car is the S-class sedan.

I can’t wait for Ford to deliver a proper Bronco and throw some serious shade at Chevy’s Blazer via a great marketing campaign. Please...someone at Ford, read this comment.

Also cuts both ways. BMW has maintained (or gained) much of its snob factor in recent years, at the expense of many brand loyalists. When reliability is way down, maintenance costs are through the roof, manuals are rarer to come by, and they focus on stupid coupe-fied SUVs and crossovers they’re slowly but surely

The guy had no automobile. He happened to be the one to help because he was on foot on his way to work. Maybe Offset took that into consideration and got the dude something that would have a light tax bill, low insurance premiums, and be easily repairable in the garage with cheap, readily available parts.

No. The Chrysler name lost all cache somewhere around here :

I hate you, I’ve never noticed that until now and now I will never forget it...

I get that”pooping out another car” feeling every time I see one of these. To me it looks like its pushing out a 911:

Just this morning I mailed a letter to Ford to ask for this car. Please join me in this futile effort.

Perception.

Agree

Fuck you US Ford.

The stick people don’t bug me, instead it’s those monograms you can buy off Etsy or whatever.

re: vehicle height

Very obvious but SUVs and crossovers. I’ve always respected serious off roaders like Jeeps, Landcruisers and Range Rovers but the current tall car fad is a horrible direction for the auto industry and humanity as a whole. It seems like vanity sizing for cars - people are fatter and fatter and their cars increasingly

Not to mention, resting the other key on the bumper! It’s probably all scratched up now!

I predict a new recurring Jalopnik column: “Here’s what we’ll remember about the [insert any sedan].”

Wow

That appeals to me on so many levels.
