And I’ve seen numerous people come to a stop in traffic or at a light and that big sheet on the roof came sliding down, covering their own windshield.

And if your 2WD vehicle with winter tires also has a limited slip differential, that percentage goes up quite a bit!

If no one felt he should have gotten that much time in prison, then they shouldn’t have charged him with so many things that had minimum sentences!

As far as buying one goes, I have the money and the desire, but it still depends. Although the stick is one of my requirements, it’s not the only requirement, so there are plenty of ways Toyota could make me not want one, even if they gave it a manual transmission.

I’m pretty sure a lot of the same people who are offended by “Cracker” are also people who fight tooth and nail to keep sports franchises and school teams named after indigenous people even though those indigenous people have no input on and receive no benefit from the teams. I’m sure they also fight to keep statues

It’ll probably be electrified in some way, like a hybrid, which almost always means it’ll be automatic. No thank you to that. The Lotus Emira is the true MR2 successor.

They don’t even see the irony. The moment they aren’t being catered to above others, they’re all up in arms. “I shouldn’t have to press 1 for English!” “Say Merry Christmas, not Happy Holidays!” “I bet they’d be up in arms if there was a show named White-ish!” They can’t fathom that are society inherently benefits

This is the internet. If you aren’t devoting your life and money to curing cancer or fusion power or world hunger, then you’re just the worst person ever.

Am I the only one who doesn’t see an arrow when I see those? All I see is half a Union Jack.

I did it the same way in that parking garage where I use an extra wheel and a floor jack.

I once rotated my tires in a parking garage during a blizzard so I could get better traction. If you car has a spare tire, you can put that on the first corner you remove until you have the last wheel to replace it with (which is how I’ve always rotated my tires). My current car doesn’t have a spare, but I have two

1st Gear: Hahahahahahahahaha...NO! Nope, nope, nope. There are very few subscriptions I pay for (really just cell phones and home internet. No cable, no streaming services, no OnStar) and software updates for a car sure as hell isn’t going to be one of them!

Without thinking too much about costs, training, and the slippery slope of alternate uses, could we equip police cruisers with high-speed drones that can follow a vehicle from high up and keep an eye on suspect vehicles for a while? That’s got to be a ton safer than sending multiple cars barreling through busy streets

Out of curiosity, do they have a backup telescope in case the launch goes...less than perfectly?

I love having the near-constant fear of being caught up in one of our daily shootings/mass shootings, just so that 20% of our population can keep playing with their death toys with as few restrictions as possible. Freedom* is so awesome!

I would LOVE to have a resto-mod NSX. Simple drivetrain, manual transmission, mid-rear engine, RWD, perfectly adequate power. Just needs modern amenities. I guess the closest thing we have to this today is the Lotus Emira (which I would absolutely daily if I could get one).

What a bunch of dweebs. If he was a shakey 16 year old who showed up in a dented Zafira with a walker jammed underneath, then, yeah, call the police. The guy’s 37 and got there. At that point, give him the test! If he does well, give him his license and send him on his way. If he blows it, call the cops.

There are MANY studies and articles that outline all the benefits of hiring college educated police officers, but the short answer for the current issues is they are more effective and less violent. Here is one of those articles:

I don’t know. I’m willing to bet that there’s a decent percentage of police officers who’ve wanted to be one since they were like five years old because of the opportunity to be in a high-speed chase and shootout. I don’t think things like this are going to change until police forces start requiring a minimum of a
