I would think that option is on the table. Selling off the property would be the last possible option. These things are pretty big, though, so they can’t take up space in the tow yard indefinitely. I couldn’t imagine if the owner shows up at the police station before the auction date, willing to pay a fine (hopefully

I’m pretty OK with this precedent being set. They were allowed to gather, demonstrate, and use mobile barricades (trucks) for two weeks. Then they were given several days to disperse and remove all barricades after which stragglers would be arrested and barricades seized. That sounds more than reasonable and fair to

Wait, that Consumer Reports number doesn’t seem right. Doesn’t the Model 3 take conditions and driving style into consideration when calculating range? So, if that 189 miles of remaining range is actually accurate, then the Model 3 only lost 18% of its rated range, which is in line with the Norwegian study.

Sooo, how is it that Hertz is allowed to file so many false police reports?! Why would prosecutors indict anyone at this point just because Hertz said so? I’m pretty sure if I was on Turo and I reported even a single car stolen when it was properly paid for, I’d be in some serious trouble!

I’m all for headlight improvements, especially when they prevent blinding other drivers. Now if they would only impound vehicles driving around on public roads with crazy bright LED light bars!

Clearly the hit boxes are too small and he’s clipping through the polygons of the other cars, right?!

And it’s not like the vaccine mandate meant they couldn’t work at all if they were unvaccinated, they just couldn’t haul loads across the border, which was a common sense measure, one that both the US and Canada have required from non-commercial border crossers for months now.

..time!   See, it was, uh, intentional, yeah.  :-)

I’m sure they also proclaim that White Privilege doesn’t exist and protest Critical Race Theory being taught in schools. I’m glad Mr. Gibson wasn’t injured and I hope these terrorists get locked up for a long.

You know what, with a wide Euro plate on the front, that grille doesn’t look too bad! Give’s that hideous grille the break it desperately needed.

Ah, so this is kind of a non-issue/same-ish issue as other cars then. I’ve had car doors freeze shut and I’ve almost broken door handles trying to open them. And back before keyless entry I’ve had to deal with a frozen lock quite a few times!

How much battery power do you think would be needed to keep the door handle area heated to just above freezing? Or, how quickly could a heater behind the door handle melt through built-up ice?

Yup, my ATS requires you to take apart half the trunk to replace the battery and you’re supposed to drop the front bumper to change out headlight bulbs (though I can sneak/scrape my arm in through the fender liner and do it all by feel, though removing the wheel does make that a bit easier).

It looks so much like a comedy sketch! The next scene would be him trying to cut a steak with a knife and fork in the passenger’s seat. It’s so unfortunate that stupid people who only care about themselves tend to take others down with them when they fail.

So they’ve fortified the perimeter with immobilized trucks, inundated local law enforcement with false emergency calls, and are using children as human shields now. This is going from a vocal minority protesting a vaccine mandate for truckers who cross the US-Canadian border (no mandate if your routes stay within your

There was a quirky police procedural that he stared in called The Unusuals and he was excellent in that show (the show itself was excellent and it’s a crime it only got one season). Renner wasn’t a dirty cop by any means, he just operated in a harmless gray area. Also starred Amber Tamblyn, Harold Perrineau, and Adam

Feels like they’re moving further and further away from a non-violent protest” and getting closer to a The Dark Knight Rises-like, taking a city hostage situation.

I guess I shouldn’t be surprised that the people who don’t care if others die of Covid would be the same people who would commit this much time and resources to just being obnoxious. Zero people have died from wearing masks and getting the Covid vaccines. And get out of here with that slippery-slope fallacy that

Sooooo, we’re just going to ignore the part of the story where they could build a road that lasts 250% longer, but won’t because it’ll cost 85%-150% more to do so?
