Plus he essentially gained at least 10s advantage pitting under yellow when he did, so anything less than an overall 10s penalty would still leave him benefiting. Made stop-go the only option really. I was a little surprised they added the 10s stop, but as you say, put lane rules have to be respected.

They would be considered ‘continuation’ models, which I believe was mentioned in the article. This has a specific and understood meaning in the context of classic cars - ie. Not an original or a restoration, but a new build approved by rights holders and made as close as possible to original design and specs. Jag,

Hey there Freakazoid, fancy meeting you here.

One imagines MB understand the the variance in their survey data, and either is comfortable their statements still stand, or is nonetheless limited by cost and/or weight as others have indicated and figures this will be good enough for the majority of their target customers.

I think we need to go out of coverage...call in the Doug. I know Jason has already outlined many of the quirks and features, but the Changli deserves only the best.

The unobstructed glass panel of the US-spec actually looks great, one of the few instances of US regulations leading to a visual improvement... if a specific set of taillights were made that actually fit that version, which was never going to happen. But if they could condense them into a single horizontal strip each
