Honestly, it’s the only Mazda I think is attractive.

Misfortunes of the buyers? The hell you talking about? The 6 is still a nice looking car, similar but nicer looking in my opinion than either the new Sonata or the Accord you propose as alternatives. Other than the relatively small center screen, the 6 has a nice, refined looking interior too. And I say all this

you must be very sad that deadspin killed comments

The 6 may be old, but the updates they made in 2018 really made a huge difference, especially with interior materials. When the wife and I were shopping for our last car, it came down to the Honda Accord and the Mazda 6. The build quality of both was great, but the materials in the Mazda were just better at pretty

I think it must be a rite of passage at Jalopnik. Now, Mr. Sorokanich has joined the ranks of Alanis King (https://jalopnik.com/the-most-entertaining-explanation-of-differential-aroun-1752885626), Chris Perkins (https://jalopnik.com/ten-videos-every-car-enthusiast-needs-to-watch-1693485136), Chris Perkins again

can i get marisa tomei to explain it to me?

I just saw one yesterday at the VW dealer when I went to test drive a GTI. I noticed it from the corner of my eye as I was leaving. It really popped out and is striking in person. Maybe it’s the marketing that’s the problem (also CUVs).

They are nice cars and look better in person. They’ll be even nicer with the new engine but yes, they’ll be priced too high for the market.

I like the Arteon, as the previous owner of a CC R-Line, it’s right up my alley. That being said, it’s priced too close to it’s Audi cousins and a whole slew of more popular vehicles of all types in that price point.

I know the Mk4 R32 isn’t the fastest, best handling nor most reliable vehicle, but my goodness VW nailed this car. It has near perfect proportions, the sounds from the VR6 are amazing and the style/looks of the R32 are just spot on. Even that blue color was to die for. When I had a Mk6 R, I purchased a set of winter

A z24? Put one of the rare hatchbacks on the block and my checkbook is going to open.

You could double the miles and this would still be a Nice Price, simply for it being a one-owner, first generation car that has been well maintained by an enthusiast and all the correct things were updated or replaced before the sale.

I would agree with this take. IMO these are the offroad equivalent of an NA Miata, in the sense that they have always been the go-to car if you want to get into a highly competent vehicle out of the box for cheap (and the prices have generally been comparable). $10k is a little steep here in the same way that $10k

If you are looking for a time capsule Suzuki Samurai in great condition, this is the one to buy. Low mileage, no rust, in great shape. The are probably only a handful of these left in this kind of shape. So if this is what you want, you should buy it.

My first reaction was no dice. But this thing could be as fun, in its own way, as an old MG or Triumph, and even the cheapest old sports car is bringing this kind of money in very good condition, and it is easier to find a chrome bumper MGB or TR6 than a decent one of these. Plus the color and whole car is such an 80s

As a former LJ80 convertible owner, I’m drawn to this luxury, high horsepower beast. Almost as much fun as a motorcycle, more like a street legal side by side. Internationally quite a cult following. If and only if it is 100% rust free I’d consider it NP.

The 450SEL was a 6.9. The earlier 300SEL 6.3 was the original 6.3.

Sad that they’re basically abandoning one of their best new engines in a long time. I get why they don’t want a V8 anymore in smaller cars, but they completely ignored the awesome I6 they developed just a few years ago. I would definitely rock a C55 with a 429 hp I6, but not a 4-banger with that much power. And I’m
