Daimler was totally forcing Chrysler to downgrade their interiors to keep separation. Like immediately after the fiatisation they got much better.

I’m depressed with the reminder that the Caliber exists, and that some hard working people at SRT had the unenviable task of polishing this turd. They did their best with what they had, no question.
The seats look terrible, but I figure you could get them re-upholstered at an aftermarket place. I’d also get the engine bay steam cleaned to restore it to at least looking like its original glory:
I guess I’m a little shocked that these don’t have more of a following. Growing up in the 90's, these, along with the Cyclone and Typhoon were always on the cover of car magazines. Domestic vs Import! Yet where those trucks can fetch 6 figures on BaT, nobody really wants these (and yes, let’s compare the…
I feel like people voting ND are thinking in year 2000 dollars or something. The starting point for a rust free car with no mechanical issues today is $3k. Min. for a boring nothing car. Add the rarity and coolness of the SHO and 90's nostalgia trends, this car is an EASY $4k all day.
I was all in until I saw the seats, but figured I could throw a cover over them. With the miles, I’m kind of a coin-flip. It’s probably a reasonable price in April 2022. If something was going to blow up, it probably would have already. And all the recent maintenance gives one confidence.
I decided that for someone who wants a SHO, this must be a good price. My brain says $3k is the right price, but my brain isn’t coping with current car prices well.
For it’s size and power level, the 370z is a pretty light car.
Just about every car on the market is significantly heavier than a Miata - not really a meaningful comparison. The Z also hasn’t been anywhere near Miata weight in over 50 years.
Figures, the powertrain could only be heavier with the added turbos and they won’t have spent a ton of R&D dollars on lightening the platform to keep the price down.
There has been a leaked photo even, however it still has Alfa wheels at this stage.
A picture of the vehicle it will be based on, and therefore look like, would have been cool.
Stop pushing the narrative that Dodge was cringey. It was fun and we should be happy that a car company exists that seems to want to make fun cars.
Because it’s hard to find a Wrangler nowadays with a Power Take Off (I think they’re now an aftermarket accessory). Some higher-powered SxSs have them as standard equipment.
Kudos to the seller to have it clean, photos showing what you want to see, and nothing weird in the background! THIS is how you sell things!
No brainer - in this market especially. NP.
Slam Dunk Nice Price! Not a beat-up POS for a reasonable, if unexciting DD. That engine is so under-stressed it might have another 290,000 miles left in it. Or more. Even if it only lasts a couple more years, it would be a good value.
Yes, we do, IMO. Because taking someone to civil court is probably not something a 7-year-old orphan is ready/able to do. And civil litigators tend to take a huge portion of the payout if they win the case. Putting it in the penal code helps avoid re-traumatizing the family of the victim, and the DA’s office isn’t…
Window tint was a smart choice.
