My thinking is probably that it would be too close to the GT in performance, and might actually be more expensive to produce than an NA V8.

I will amend my take from above, this would work, especially playing on the SVT heritage. They would call it the ST. Give it the 350 hp/torks from the RS, split the cost spread to the GT, and give it a unique hood.

I know I’m in the minority, but I want exactly this. Add an offset hood scoop and I’ll happily take this Mustang SVO. Ideally, it'd have a liftback though.

Just put the FocusRS engine in there.  Its not like the Focus needs it or anything.

That’s an interesting point, how does this work with a manual?  Europe still has quite a few more than we do.  Do you need an automatic clutch as well?  Does the car just stall?
