Also, almost every threat was the result of decision-making in the book(s) before. The whole series was basically a domino effect of self-made catastrophe after self-made catastrophe.

I have a 950 and it’s face unlock, and it works well. I’m in Europe, so ymmv, but it’s still holding up really well for a two-year-old phone. It’s still incredibly durable, has expandable storage and a replaceable battery, and a ridiculously awesome camera. And it still looks new, though I don’t do cases and I’m not

I’m on my fourth playthrough. I finish, I get all the dlc (and everything else except Korok seeds), I intend to play something else, I go back to BotW. It’s pretty much the story of my last year of gaming.

Here’s the thing: you can personally be as uncomfortable as you like with something. That’s you, and that’s valid. The moment you, as a lawmaker, try to legislate that discomfort onto others and make them less-than under the law, you’ve crossed a line into what is unacceptable.

My sister picks me up from the airport (I’m in NL) and we go to Target on the way to my parents’ house. My mom understands.

It looks like Charlotte Tilbury’s Walk of Shame which is amazing and worth every penny of its high price.

The left stick on my ww one is starting to go (Link accidentally crouches a lot now), but they have decent customer support. I should have it fixed soonerr rather than later, though. Just in case...

Nope. I’m 44 and still faking it every damn day. You just learn to hide it better.

I had thought I’d booked a BA flight (which are good) and got bait-and-switched to their AA codeshare. And then that shit happened. KLM is mostly great, but you have to watch out for codeshares with Delta (not mostly great, but still better than AA). My next long flight is on United, whose international service is ok.

American. American won’t let you pick a seat when you purchase, and unless you pay extra all of the “available” seats on the plane are middle ones until magically right when check-in opens. And most of the time people have sucked up and paid the randomly-shifting “pick a good seat” charges, which means “pay x0% more

I always hear/use “doe normaal” in the context of “calm the fuck down and stop doing that thing that’s possibly embarrassing me”. Not in the context above. That could reflect more on me than on standard usage, though...

I felt old, and then remembered that I found out he’d died from the Jez article and then remembered that I’m still grey. So now I’m old AND depressed..

My Nokia (the Lumia replacement that’s Android and an excellent phone) has replaceable battery, expandable memory and dual sim. as well as the newest version of a camera that put the original Lumias on the map. And it was 500 euros. So yeah. It’s still available to those willing to look past Apple/Samsung (YMMV, as

A big tree near the Vredespaleis went down yesterday, damaging the tram power lines and the track, and today normal service on trams 1 and 16 has resumed.

I moved to The Netherlands in 2005 and haven’t even considered going back to the US. It’s difficult being far from my family sometimes, but the overall quality of life here is significantly better. (Also, my Dutch husband wouldn’t go even if I wanted to.)

Would Mar-a-Shithole count? That’s one of his most prized and tacky possessions.

I’m in Den Haag. There will be open snickering and pointing if I ever see him.

It happens. Doxxing myself, but it’s my maiden name. Not the easiest one to grow up with.

I have a Civic Hybrid. Honda gaveus a 10-year warranty on the batteries, offered to change them (for free, because warranty) when the tech advanced, and then have us a brand new 10-year warranty on the new batteries. And we’re not the first owners.

Sorry. That was meant for ArmoredTitan. Old fingers fumble!
