the asian sheet mask stuff is SO much easier than the goopy stuff from a container which you have to wash off. never got into face masks until my friend introduced me to the asian ones where you plop on for 10-15min, whip off and walk away. no washing your face (and everywhere else) to get rid of face mask bits.

oh god yes! My mum’s family is (distantly) russian and i still remember getting fruit salad covered in mayo. this is more because the chinese legal system is completely confucianism based. a good example is that when the son dies, the parent (if still living) is entitled to a share of his estate and can legally duke it out in court with the wife (and any grandchildren).

I’m an engineer too and one of the senior engineers on my team does it part time. she has two kids under 12 and prefers to be present for their school activities. we’re lucky that our boss has kids and is lenient on where/when as long as the work gets done. granted because she works at home/school/sport activities…
