I rate season 3 significantly below 6 and 7, so I don't subscribe to the rosy Kripke view everyone else seems to have. The dude has holes in his mythology and sharp turns in his characterisation just like anyone else—this wasn't like Joss handing over to Marni, or anything. I don't get how people dislike 1,6, & 7 as

Yup, it's them—The Unconquerable Man. The rest varied from boring to painful.

Because he's not a good director? Because they've never had a director without a history of comic book movies direct a comic book movie? Because he's never directed action? Come on...what's the angle?

Consumer biofeedback devices are useful for chronic pain control. Of course I stare at a device measuring my brain waves—how else do I learn to moderate my migraines without narcotics or other disabling medication? I don't see any reason I should buy something more expensive to achieve that.

Andromeda became an unwatchable wankfest that stank so rankly that actors and writers fled like rats fleeing a sinking ship.

My house to either of the Westwood Village theatres (which are good), or the Century City theatres (which are pretty good), or the Landmark theatre (you've triangulated my position by now, haven't you?) are about at the 10 minute border.

Yup. You can't get a two bedroom house for that little in the perfectly mundane un-special neighbourhood I live in. I'd maybe be able to own a house if that were realistic for the city.

" see what their brains are doing while they're looking at an app showing their brainwaves."

I'm going to assume that this is where my move to LA pays off (yeah, it's been awful so far...), but the question is—do I need to drive more than ten minutes to get to a 48fps (which is not super high resolution—it's super high speed) showing? Because that would totes harsh my mellow, dude.

You can get a technological assist, can't you? Or is this just a girl thing?

Some of them aren't even small roles.

No! I much prefer Amy Jo to Hillary. I was just catching up on the Flashpoint eps on my TiVo yesterday.

In what?

Jeffrey Dean Morgan has an Angel appearance before he goes on to father Sam and Dean, and then be the Comedian.

She's Max from Veronica Mars, which could very easily be me smooshing characters. I'm fairly sure I'm right—I might in fact be extra right.

That story was even vaguely similar to you the first two times? Did it hit the same emotional or plot notes?

The story of how two brothers relate to each other? I'd be a little worried if they ever stopped, to be honest.

How well-formed can your opinion be when you admit it's not informed?

Apparently I'm a purist. Who knew? But why are Jeff and Britta in the poster and Shirley and Pierce not? Why do the Blorgons look like Daleks?

Does it really understand all of those commands, and respond that way, even under optimal connectivity and pronounciation conditions? I've not been able to get any of my iPhone toting friends to have a similar conversation in the field.
