I think the scene you're remembering came earlier in the film, where Glass is following a guy into a subway station and falls down some stairs. If I recall correctly, the last time we see Glass, he's being led away by the police.
I am – I loved Unbreakable, and have always been sad that the planned sequels never materialized.
