I don’t know what Golamco’s experiences with autism are, but some of the cues and moments here feel more like how a writer thinks autistic people behave, rather than how they actually behave, which of course risks falling into stereotypes instead of properly representing the community.

I also kind of liked it, my main problem isnt so much that it doesnt measure up to the Marvel movies (doesnt even come close), it’s that it doesnt even measure up to Wonder Woman. So it really feels like a sharp downward turn in quality.

i’ve now seen it twice and i have to say i mostly like it. if the MCU didn’t exist it would probably be in the very top of superhero movies, however the MCU does exist so it’s more like 17th best.
