Is it misogynistic to point out that I think Lahren, with her complete lack of qualifications, owes her entire career to misogyny? I’m not being flip, that’s an honest question.

Good on him! Taking a socially conscious stand publicly and forcing producers’ hand like this is admirable. I didn’t know who Ed Skrein was before he gave up a role in a movie I hadn’t planned to see, but I’ll remember him in the future—surely he’s caught the fair eye of some in the industry as well.

Yes, it’s clearly intentional that Danny is both naive and not in control of his Iron Fist power, though I’m really not sure why on the latter point. (There’s a moment in the Iron Fist series where we see a clip of a previous IF doing stuff Danny didn’t even think was possible, and it’s like WHY I WOULD RATHER WATCH…

This Episode is what cemented Jessica as the best thing on this show and in this Universe. Her stealing that beer was perfect and Krysten plays it perfectly.

Watching The Defenders, I’m glad that I skipped Iron Fist, the show. I thought that Danny’s mostly a fine character, especially when he’s the upbeat one of the ground, even if I found it a little weird how quickly his PTSD from failing K’un-L’un seems to have faded.
