@bobeyjoe: I may be wrong, but If I made the installation "persistent" but kept a live os maybe it could work. I'm going to keep looking into it, I guess there isn't an easy way out. :P

@Casse: I've been reading all sorts of threads where people have managed to pull this off to different degrees but I can't find one for windows 7, only Vista. I have managed to use a vmdk to boot a persistent Ubuntu flash-drive in VirtualBox running in Windows 7 but I'm not sure how to do this differently. *Sigh*…
@shkm: Very true. If I do spend money on getting a gift for somebody, I always go for a quality item. Normally though, I write letters by hand, make origami, or give other hand-made gifts. The effort means a lot. Happy holidays everyone.
Wow, what timing. I have a question for someone with more experience than me. A friend has a laptop dual-booting Vista 32 bit and Pinguy OS. He wants to be able to run the Pinguy OS from its existing partition through virtual box in Vista. I know you need to create a vmdk file for this but I don't remember how. Can…
@stre: If they have a desktop and laptop you avoid having to deal with them not having their bookmarks on both instances of Firefox.
I have at least seven emails that I use. One of them is my real gmail, the second gmail is a file storage and filtering station of sorts that feeds back into my main gmail. Then I have yahoo accounts for flickr and organizations I am a part of. A hotmail for signing up for different things online, and one for windows…
@jason.e.mock: Same here. :(
@Kamatari +: Why thank you, I was quite sad when my pun went unnoticed. :D
@citaro: Really? CCleaner tells me they left me several.
@blash: I drink about a pot of English Breakfast tea across the entirety of my day and I don't have the adverse effects of too much caffeine, so I think I found the right personal balance. I think I go through caffeine phases though. Earlier this year I was having 2-3 Nespresso shots a day and about a pot of black…
@maximumridiculosity: I love that QC picture you have, pretty fitting here too.
@fotd_spectacular: You know I saw one that was stationary but would virtually detonate very loudly if it wasn't defused within a certain time limit. I need to go find it in all of my bookmarks now, I could probably use it. =)
@justrick: I used tea as well after getting down to a cup and I'm used to it now. I could probably get off of that too but having something warm in the winter helps me to wake up and digest breakfast.
@Mike-Redman: Puppy linux and a few other distros use only live mode and store all changes in ram. Then, when you shut down they write once and save the changes.
@38thsignal: I wish (and deserve) more Lego too. I haven't bought any in over five years! I just started to build Lego and post it on flickr though, so now I have an excuse.
@38thsignal: Still at the office? Wow, you deserve that Lego.
@38thsignal: Sorry about the links though. They alternated for some reason. :P
@38thsignal: But you're just being creative?! You inspired me here's some more: [www.flickr.com]
@38thsignal: "Paper" the walls with some tile plates as well. Then you can use SNOT techniques!
I Have a Galler chocolate jar and two of the Twinings loose tea boxes that I use to hold my fountain pens, drafting pencils, and small notepads.
