I personally am still shocked and angered to find that there are no horses in A Band of Horses. It’s not only a failure of representation. It’s also false advertising.

And his mom’s been on the news lately defending her little killer, acting like it was just normal that he decided to arm himself, cross state lines into a situation that didn’t involve him in the first place, and shoot a couple of people because he’s the real victim.

Yeah, well, I’m not arguing legally here, simply stating what everyone with an ounce of common sense understands.  He purposefully chose to put himself in a situation wherein violence was more than likely inevitable.

Madison and Milwaukee are actually pretty important liberal strongholds in an otherwise conservative midwest so....no thanks.

It seems so ridiculously, obviously biased to invoke self-defense because someone pointed a gun at him... when he walked into a crowed with a fucking gun. Like, he can get scared and shoot people when he sees a gun and it’s self-defense, but people who see him with a gun can’t point their guns at him because...?

I have a feeling we will hear this kid’s name in the news for years to come. He’ll make the news any time he kills/injures people going forward, as well as abuses any partner - in my opinion.

I’m straight and my reaction is “who are these people?” as well. So there’s that.  Performing the worst leftover shit from a script where “romance” equates to distrust is just repulsive.

The straights are not okay. I say this as a straight person who is THISCLOSE to cross-stitching “damn it feels good to be a spinster” on a throw pillow. But part of this “trend” is simple narcissism exacerbated by the siren’s call of social media, which is hard for someone of any sexual orientation to resist.

This is what happens when you mix basic heterosexuality with exhibitionist narcissism and attention-seeking.

Is it just me, but if I was staged in a situation (on public media no less) where my other half deliberately tried to trigger jealousy, I’d seriously reconsider my relationship with them.....
