Well I assume Israeli forces are trained to treat Palestinians as guilty until proven innocent, or shot dead, doesn’t really matter in the end.

Could have been avoiding by not aggressively colonizing and displacing / abusing the existing residents of Palestine and thus creating the risk of reprisal in the first place.

It ends on a good note if you choose one of the endings. The other two endings are both thematically depressing as hell and gameplay-wise boring as hell.

If only you’d take it as seriously when a feminist woman is a creep or an abuser instead of gaslighting their victim and victim-blaming them.

I assume many gaters and pol types are trying to link Kotaku to this, to poison the well and drive people away from this site as well. It’s a very old conservative tactic, really.

This is a great interview, and this seems like an amazing comic that I need to start picking up right away. I really look forward to seeing more of this interview series!

Yes, it is indeed the point, and it’s very strange that the author doesn’t get that.

Get that burnout-apologist horseshit out of here. I’ve developed games for a decade now. Burnouts and death marchs can be avoided with smart and honest planning.

Yeah, i don’t get all the hate Ewoks get. Maybe it’s because i was a youngster when it came out so they never bothered me. Maybe it’s because i don’t care that the original script had them being Wookies (I’ve seen the Holiday Special, a bunch of Wookies really isn’t that great). Whatever it is, leave my Ewoks alone!

I don’t actually think this will milk money out of much of anyone. As I mentioned in the article, the game straight up gifts you a bunch of those premiere boxes / orcs, to the degree that I started ignoring them. While the internet rages about the principle of a thing, in practice, the system is relatively generous

I really hate hearing “Why does this movie need to exist?”. Why does any movie need to exist? Why did the first blade runner need to exist? What I really see when I hear that is “I liked the movie but I don’t want to because I liked the first one and don’t want my childhood memory changed at all”.

Fun fact, I just had a talk with one of EA’s lead engineers yesterday and I was surprised to learn that they have an engineer who earned their PhD studying how to simulate grass and leaves graphically with high fidelity. I’m sure she’ll be amused to see that someone took the time to really notice her work.

Tobias: It’s a wonderful restaurant. Mmm!

Next month, Marvel presents Spider-Man in: “Power and Responsibility Are For Chumps!” A special promotional comic sponsored by heroin.

AND RYAN FUCKING COOGLER.

These movies are not trying to follow the Marvel model...

I wonder how much he got for these quotes.
