I have over 10,000 hours played in a game that is free (Dota 2), so is this an infinitely superior game to any other? (I mean, it totally is.)

DotA 2 is continually in development and has changed a lot in six years. It remains a dynamic and interesting game that takes a lot of skill and learning to play even decently!

Dota actually owns and is great. Artifact looks kind of cool! But keep bitching because they’re not still plumbing away at the ‘linear first person shooter/puzzle’ genre like they were 12 years ago.

Your loss on Agents of Shield. Last season was amazing, crushed it with the Ghost Rider and Framework/LMDs arcs

The money is secondary, the bigger prize is getting closer to TI8, where they can likely make that much just by getting 8th

I mean... You kinda should get flamed for this comment.

Role-queueing also promotes stagnant play and thinking.

It’s absolutely a class issue as much as anything. It will probably become less pronounced with time, though my guess there doesn’t really take into account ways gaming might change in the future.

If you want to go to ‘it’s subjective’ then yeah, everything is subjective, and you could argue for or against basically any feature/flaw in any video game ever. But that makes the whinging about Schreier’s adjective use even more absurd.

It diminishes your brand over time. And the next time you release a port, there’s fewer people mashing buy, and the next time, and the next time, etc.

An SNES Emulator last updated in like 2000 gives a better, more serviceable release of the game, with no tiling or display errors, access to save states, fast forward, slowdown, etc.

The point is that an SNES Emulator last updated around 2000 actually is a better presentation of the game than a paid version in 2018.

The fact that it’s actually a downgrade from ‘SNES Emulator’ and a VAST downgrade from ‘DS Emulator’ is pretty damning.

She was so happy after her first run, I almost cried, I am not a big olympics person but I am here for Mirai Nagasu and Chloe Kim. Such feelings

The people wanting to add X-men to fix it... I appreciate the sentiment but the game has problems beyond that. It is not polished. It is not good. The Art Direction is bad - the game straight up looks bad. All the characters look like worse versions of previous selves (legit MvC3 looks straight up better on most

Pretty sure Matt Damon was in that commercial for water.org, as he’s been big on providing clean, drinkable water to areas without for a long time.

I’ve been playing DotA for over a decade, and it’s remained the most rewarding & dynamic game I’ve ever touched. I still learn, improve. I’ve never played the same match twice.

Come play Dota instead... You know, in your heart of hearts, it’s always been betterrrr...

It’s good on balance, because everyone *knows they are leading Yuna to her death.* Except Tidus, who doesn’t know, and Rikku, who is sure she can stop it. Playing the first half of the game is completely different once you know that. It makes Lulu and Wakka’s characters a lot richer.

Cool, another FFX article and excuse to SHAME YOU ALL.
