People need to understand that Hollywood celebrities are, for the most part, wealthy on a different scale than people like Mitt Romney, or Gabe Newell. Like, they’re far richer than most people, but the people who actually operate major businesses are typically worth a magnitude more than actors or entertainers.

If Donald Trump had taken his inheritance and just continually invested it equally in the top 100 best performing funds for his entire life, he’d have made far more money than in his businesses, which largely exist for personal aggrandizement and vanity.

I think it’s fine to have a competition like this. As a long time DotA fan, it was a real treat to watch the Jordanian squad (and also learn that Beesa’s parents are apparently Jordanian?), or the South African squad, both from regions not especially known in DotA.
