I’ve played an Undead Priest off and on since Vanilla, and I’ll have to say, I don’t get random strangers giving me stuff - but I do get players who get to know me trying to give me stuff. In my MMO history, I’ve had two guys who I did raids with tell me that they know that they love me and that there is ‘something

The need for organization is important but I disagree that Valve’s approach has been a total disaster. Rather, I think the independence and openness of the Dota scene is what has helped it grow. Look at Blizzard and SC2, or Blizzard and HotS (okay HotS has other problems). We’ll see how Overwatch turns out at a

Why should you take any sport seriously? It’s sport.

Minor nerfs to the most prominent stars of the current meta, but it’s one of the most diverse and steady patches in years, so it’s hard to improve much on that.

Dota has had basically one man (with lots of input from pros & his testers) doing balancing for ten years, and it’s been an incredibly steady stewardship.

yeah, haha, it’s weird how people take politics so personally, like it effects their lives or something??? lol, its crazy, i mean, like, my friend likes the yankees and i like the mets but its like who cares, whats the big deal?!! politics is the same, right? right???

I mean, not necessarily. But the odds do significantly increase. :)

I mean, ‘politics is no big deal’ is sort of a luxury for non-marginalized people. It’s cool that politics is distant enough from you that you don’t really care but a lot of us come from communities where lives are literally ended by policy decisions so. y’know.

Not to entirely contradict you, but a lot of departments these days actually do train officers to administer narcan and provide PD with it. It’s newer, but it is out there.

Did you respond to the wrong person?

I mean, China and Japan are hardly bastions of internationalism and humility. And a Korean identity has been tempered in a lot of suffering and subjugation by neighboring powers (and sometimes NOT neighboring powers!)

Latinx always just makes me think of like... Spanx in Spanish

Oh, I mentioned Taking A Stand from Winter Soldier, but Into Eternity from the second Thor movie also stands out - was really really good, and the scene it goes with was such a huge standout for that movie

Now playing

The score from Winter Soldier is hands down my favorite track from any of the MCU. The strings really do it for me - whenever the movie is on cable, I watch the credits just for the awesome credit sequence (not the post-credits stuff, but the credits themselves) and this track.

I mean, you might not be racist, but being Taiwanese sort of lends you to even more potential bias.

It shapes the nature of content and what proliferates though. Like every time you make an editorial decision like that, you’re shaping your output by removing monetization from certain things.

No, but there is a limit to how far you can allow grief-stricken people to inflict their suffering on others. People have horrific, awful things happen every day but it doesn’t mean they can smash store windows or something. You give people leeway to grieve, you don’t let them sue you and incur legal damages. Like,

I mean she banged Bill Maher, is that close enough

Yeah, the mechanics are surprisingly crunchy, you can really dig into the game, and there is actual difficulty to be overcome there. There were plenty of spots where you could just flat out lose - Asura like you mentioned, Living Wall, Bahamut, even the last few spots of the Lunar Core with the red and blue dragons,

This was maybe my first actual video game, and will always have a special place in my heart. There’s so much you could talk about but I want to hit something most people don’t.
