But what you're saying makes no sense?
But what you're saying makes no sense?
But hero viability has everything to do with strategies - they're almost the exact same thing. If a hero is viable, it impacts what strategies are possible. If all the pushing heroes are shit, then pushing strategies are shit. If Broodmother is nonviable, then what impact does her inclusion in Captain's Mode have?…
What, are you just going to dismiss replies of people pointing out you don't know what you're talking about?
The guy dismissed my other reply but you're right - Broodmother is not remotely viable even if she was in Captain's Mode. Terrorblade is incredibly strong right now, but I still think he might be too fragile to sustain early aggression in competitive play.
So there were rumors Newbee didn't want to scrim with DK (although Newbee DID scrim with DK...)
Haha, if you really think Broodmother is remotely viable in her current state, I don't know what to say. Terrorblade is incredibly strong but I'd also bet he's too susceptible to getting shut down in organized play to be overly dominant - hard to say, he's so paper fragile early on. But Broodmother? Really?
Sorry, but this is ridiculous - the current meta is incredibly diverse and a multitude of different strategies were seen over the course of TI. VG and Newbee won out, with Newbee's aggressive ganking and killing winning out over VG's early push. People would have pissed and moaned if this had involved carries farming…
Matches don't start for awhile, and there's lots of tables and lounges and stores outside where Pro players and dota personalities sign stuff. Why rush to sit in a seat and watch the analysts' desk? Especially considering there are monitors all over the venue.
Maybe don't be so fucking psychotic about ~feminism ruining my mega mans~ and the rest of your problems will disappear.
Yeah, how dare Kotaku post updates for an $11m USD gaming tournament that's being shown by ESPN?
cool, good opinion
If people didn't pour money into it, I guarantee you Valve wouldn't rent out the Key Arena.
The prize pool for TI4 is 90% generated by sales to the fans - the fans put in the money. It isn't like Valve just made an $11m prize pool and said 'PLEASE CARE ABOUT THIS.'
Yeah, no racists on EG at all. lol
No - relative to other games in the genre, DotA is the much more lethal. But part of his hero being so survivable (because of the items he built), along with creative use of his abilities and absolute precision that enables him to survive is what makes this so incredible.
If he wants to get the ball in the hole, while does he hit it with the club, just pick it up and walk over and put it in the hole, this is stupid, i don't understand, why hasn't anyone explained this to me, the casters are all talking about 'par' and 'strokes' and 'irons'. it makes no sense!!
In addition to what Mr Multiverse said, they'll also be on Youtube and if you have DotA 2, you can download the replays in client and watch them there.
This is a really good point - I've played a lot of matches of DotA, HoN, LoL, and DotA 2, yet I can guarantee most matches feel completely new (part of the reason I quit LoL was the feeling that some of the matches were starting to run together and feel samey, but that's another post entirely).
You can also watch the tournament via ESPN's streaming service, ESPN3 http://espn.go.com/watchespn/play…
Dark Souls has been a break out success and is incredibly popular and is also very hard and punishing.
