It's basically corporatism. She runs through her day with stuff like 'get up at 5 AM to check your e-mails, then get your kids up and get them ready, make sure you have dinner prepared and served, also, do your e-mails in bed.' 'Also, work on the weekend and on vacations.'

That's why it's art!

Haha, what.

I loved that game, even if it is racist as hell. Alas.

Like, what do things even mean, definitions are a fascist artificial construction...

Yeah, my brand of feminism involves systematically oppressing and restricting the rights of women, and fuck you people who tell me I'm wrong!!

Haha, holy shit. I'm on your side but you're making me wish I wasn't.

It's easy to roll your eyes and laugh at dumb Republicans. The harder, but more important thing to do, would be to take Logan to task for this and some statements she made, and ask if her personal opinions influenced the fact that they put together this piece over the course of a year and still something this obvious

Reminder that Dan Rather was made a national pariah for far less.

Not sure how she has a job and this is going to be dismissed as such a minor kerfluflle when Dan Rather became a national pariah and was banished to experimental media outlets for something infinitely less critical.

And we think you're gross too.

There's a lot of this. If it isn't some sort of fetish for some, it's some status symbol for others. I think the way Dating Sites work, categorizing people and such, really lends itself to this.

From the other side, I'll just say that I ducked out OKCupid after a few months. There's a lot of awful awful Asian fetishists with some pretty stupid ideas. Sometimes they're straightforward about it, and other times they try to play coy.

There's a whole host of stereotyping and portrayals that feed into so much of this.

This has been my limited experience as well. I just bailed on the site.

Just reading that, I feel embarrassed for him somehow.

Try to be a little sympathetic to him, though. One of my friends has been doing the 'house husband' thing for three years, and he absolutely loves caring for his daughter, taking care of the home, etcetera, and he has no problem with it.
