Honestly, I’m enjoying this game so much and love it a lot. In fact, that’s a big reason I wrote this. If this game wasn’t great, I wouldn’t have thought much about the Force and how it works in the game. But because it is soooo good and everything feels like Star Wars, this element stuck out a bit more and I wanted

They aren’t going to do shit. They’re all “concerned" until they actually need to take action. The NBA should have elicited much more of a response from them, but nothing. Nothing will happen unless Activision decides one way or the other.

And all the people who only watched the movie are thinking, "The Shire burned down?"

1) Saruman and 2) too soon

Who burned down your Shire? Sheesh.

It’s his hand holding the gun. I’ve never really gotten this image. I can see what they’re seeing, but it’s not a “can’t unsee” kind of thing, because to see it as an extension of his face means that the gun barrel is just sort of floating in air connected to a weird-shaped shadow.

Then I’ll quote the reply to that quote.

I admit I haven’t played in a few years after my friends stopped playing, so I thought the screenshot looked off but couldn’t quite say why.

Agreed. LOTRO absolutely does the IP justice. More than any other game. It’s probably the truest and most faithful representation of the books we will ever see.

And a grossly outdated screenshot at that. (That’s the old skill bar layout.)

Well that was a largely disappointing article.

I’ve thought a bit about the subject of “what can we do”. Mr. Schreier’s article surprised and even incensed me a bit.

If only political reporters demonstrated the same level of journalistic integrity that you do. I actually can’t even recall the last time I’ve read such a well-written, detailed, and clearly researched piece.

I’m really hype for this.

I’m genuinely impressed by the accuracy of your reporting over the years. There’s some outlandish shit that i’ve thought to myself, “there’s no way this can be true,” and low and behold you called it way beforehand.

The Jedi both planned and fought in a war wearing layers of flowing material. Princess Leia and Mon Mothma commanded Death Star attacks in pristine white gowns. People are running all over the damn place in Star Wars world in dresses. Of all the weird-ass corners people are poking in to get mad about Last Jedi, this

Huh?

And the worst part is? They got it and they still weren’t happy. They got to have that thrill of “oh shit look at how badass Luke is!” and then got to have the shock of “oh shit, look at how clever Luke is!” But for some reason, they think those two invalidate each other.

i said this in a separate comment but because i’m greyed, i dunno if it’ll pop up. but as far as i remember, the swelling soundtrack when luke is hammering away at vader and winning the battle is the *emperor’s theme*. not any of the “light side” themes (rebel, luke & leia, force, etc) that are prominent throughout

Self-defense or rescuing a friend are different than striking down someone in anger. Luke never killed anyone who was already defeated and knocked down; he didn’t try to rescue his friends in a rage.
