I know this is a common complaint thrown about.....but as a Smash lifer (old enough to not have been a child for the original), I’m just losing interest in the complete overload of characters.

Fair comment. A lot of us differ on that. I loooooved the sense of openess, but it's not for everyone. Seems to be pretty love/hate with no in between (not quite as love/hate as the weapon durability though....learned not to comment on that on kotaku to avoid sh*tstorms)....

Even the Elders Scrolls and BOTWs of the world have soft “gating” in that you aren’t supposed to be able to do everything without some type of character level progression first.....

Side note....I thought the best new Metroid game since Prime 3 was the Tomb Raider reboot, but I haven’t played any of the Tomb Raider games since.

While I’d love to see an attempt at a more “open” Metroid game, Prime 3 would have been a disaster if attempted. It was just too early for a studio, even a good one like Retro, to pull it off. I don’t want Grand Theft Metroid. Nor do I want Samus dropped in an Elder Scrolls type blank(ish) slate. I’d argue that before

There’s been some insightful messages/postings from county officials to local cycling groups here, the one from the DA probably being the best so far.  It does not impact where it stands now, as the investigation is still in the hands of the local PD.

Too bad “intent” is not the only litmus test for a crime. The lawyer, surprisingly enough, fails to address “negligent” and “reckless” (and potentially even “knowingly” though harder to prove).

Jeesh people.......it wasn’t meant to be a “this is literally, exactly, 100% the same thing as McLaren” argument. It was a much-publicized example to help understand leaseback arrangements in the context of an automotive company.

Just pointing out another similar leaseback for cash influx scenario.  No, McLaren does not share the space, but Lordstown was already looking to find a partnership to fill the 70% unused capacity at the plant.

See: McLaren selling its Woking HQ.

Pretty similar revenue-wise to Mazda who is the polar opposite design-wise. Mazda takes their Kodo design and translates it pretty effectively from concept to production.  Not arguing whether it is good or bad design, just saying Mazda pulls off the transition far better with similar resources.

The lack of creativity seems to come at a particular stage of design, specifically when moving from concept to production. They have had some very interesting concepts lately that ultimately lose all character when the realities of trying to mass produce to a specific pricepoint come into play.

Believe it came from one of the Viziv concepts. One of the few concept ideas that seems to have carried over since Subaru has proven to be kings of translating interesting concept ideas into meh results (spoken as a big Subaru fan).

Me: The art of the two-tone paint scheme is something we need back.

Shhhhh.....no one tell Switzerland about the raclette grill we have in the closet.  Don’t want them to realize their “secret” got out.

Either way, looking good sir.

When the most reliable cars throughout your whole writing/editorial staff at an automotive publication are a Changli, a Pao, and a Beetle.....you have Jalopnik.

“Well you can’t have the Michigan salt be getting to these beauties....”

Stop trying bring (questionably) rational thought into this!  The argument falls apart when the replacement is a pentagenarian Mopar.  Now support your argument with a nerdy physics formula or be gone!

“Writing is on the wall....”
