Good ep.

Is this an episode of I Love Films?

Green Room rules. I had to pause the movie when Pat was about to open the door to hand over the gun, already having some vague knowledge of what was about to happen. I couldn’t make myself keep watching it until the next day. That’s some real good tension right there.

Real shoddy narration. Just pure crap.”

Okay, here goes: I like actors who are funny and talented and haven’t allegedly committed sexual harrassment.

Sounds fun.

I’m watching it on Amazon Prime and I thought they were only putting one episode out per week. Where are you watching it?

I never saw the Stallone Judge Dredd, but I just looked it up and that robot indeed looks cool. It’s sad but also weirdly inspiring when excellent design goes into a shitty movie.

I haven’t been able to see his standup live, but I did see Oh Hello in DC, and it was maybe the most I’ve enjoyed any live performance of any kind in my life. I’ve got to make a point to see him on the next tour, and I’m looking forward to watching this special tonight.

He’s spilling mustard on his shirt and he’s got some papers to deliver...

Without spoiling the specifics, I’d say this movie *had* to end exactly where it ended to be effective.

Peter Quill can stay dead for all I care. All the charm in the world doesn’t make up for being a stupid asshole when it counts. Still, I’m curious about what kind of happy ending we’re heading to in Avengers 4, and what Doctor Strange meant about giving Thanos the stone being “the only way.”

I haven’t seen the movie yet and I don’t know what FoC stands for, but I would absolutely read that.

Whoa, huge slam on Australia from out of nowhere!

I try not to care about the letter grades (as I enjoy and respect the hell out of Dowd’s and Iggy’s reviews) but I scrolled straight to the C+ and knew it would be a fun comments section.

Yeah, the only deaths in Rogue One that landed emotionally for me are K2-SO and Baze.

In the context of the other Marvel movies, this was probably a good decision.

No, but he does get to second base with Oblivion in a post-credits scene critics are calling “too confusing to be considered sexual.”

That’s a real bummer to hear Cap only has a handful of lines. He’s more compelling as a character than all the Guardians of the galaxy put together.

I didn’t think Guardians of the Galaxy 2 was an especially good movie, but one thing it did well was make a universal threat relatable on a personal level. It’s possible. Maybe not with a cast of dozens of heroes all vying for plot relevance, but that doesn’t give this movie a pass for not conveying personal stakes.
