To be fair, they did include it in a list of favorite game songs earlier this year. Maybe just trying to mix it up.

After the scene in "Ozymandias" that ends with Skylar kneeling on the street and crying out, I, for the first time in my life probably, was happy for a commercial break. Just to be able to breath normal again.

It's an MMO, so nothing at all like IX, and bears only a passing resemblance to XII. However, I'd say those are my favorite FF titles, so it might be right for you. It is most definitely aesthetically pleasing. Do you like playing with other people? If not, steer clear. If so, give it a shot. I think you can get a

Stressful is a good way to describe it. There have been a few times that I've been gripping my iPad to a point that I'm worried about breaking it. It's all conquerable though, and overcoming a hurdle is pretty satisfying.

I think I've got a borderline obsession with Majora's Mask. Not in that I can't stop playing, but that I always think about it when I think of Zelda. While they may not be the best in the series, The Adventure of Link and Majora's Mask are the two Zelda games I keep returning to and dreaming about. The straying from

Yeah, March is certainly looking like a wasted month. On top the three you mentioned, FFXIV is also releasing its first expansion, so I'll probably be testing the limits of screens and eyestrain.

Finally beat T9 in Final Fantasy XIV this week(!!), so looking forward to beating it again and again to hopefully get my kickass looking sword and armor before we travel into the Final Coil of Bahamut next week.

Siren. I've got a semi-reliable static right now and we're progressing, somewhat slowly.

I've got such a ridiculous amount of playtime out of Demon's Souls by changing playstyle and order of level progression that I'm sure I've put more than 1000 hours into that game. At times alternating between PvP and PvE, taking a while off, then picking it up again when I decide to run a no-shield playthrough, or a

Skyrim was one of the first games I used mods for, and the first I heavily modded, something like 70-100 mods running at a time. I played through it once without them, and I liked it enough, but then I played through again with them all. While graphics mods and house mods really added to the overall feel, the two mods

Toothless. A dragon (!) that lets you ride on its back and can smite your enemies with deadly accuracy from afar, plus he's totally cute! No-brainer for me.

I'm so happy Grim Fandango is finally coming out. I never got to play it when it was originally released, and over the past few years, I've tried to find a copy somewhere. With actual copies of the game running around $150 and the torrents I found not working properly, this game kept slipping away. Really excited to

This weekend, I'll be finishing the new stuff from the 2.5 patch of Final Fantasy XIV. I've done the new Crystal Tower raid and the Wanderer's Palace Hard Mode, but still have 2 dungeons and two trials to complete. I hear Odin's a tough one, too.

My "game I liked" was in the article above, but really FFXIV took up a huge portion of my time in 2014, and into 2015 now as well. I play on PC, though, so I guess I didn't play the 2014 version of the game. I agree about the community. Of course there are the loud minority, but I would have stopped playing after

It's not the "Top 39", but the first half of the year.

I just bought this during the PS sale. Looking forward to playing.

Kind of surprised it still has a Disqus account at this point.

Sniglets.

Is that you, GLaDOS?

I would have answered FFXIV too, since it's close to the only game I played this year. It's just so deep, and there's so much to do. I tank, and I actually really enjoy it, but it is getting frustrating finding people to play with as I approach the Final Coil.
