@Apostropartheid: so I have to use wine(which is all crossover is) to use a product that has native alternatives? I think I am going to stick with the native options.

@Angel Stewart: My biggest problem with office? It's not available on my OS of choice. I really have no option but to use alternatives.

I have spent my entire computer using life without MS office.

Happy Birthday!

@anonpwny: as a user of both, go with adblock. it seems to be more stable and works better.

@davislee: huh. well that sucks. I want to move to the Georgia coast from Mississippi, but Jackson barely has 250,000 residents. Maybe 400,000 if it includes the entire metro area...

So, are we completely ignoring the advantages of monogram? Particularly the lower chance of sexually transmitted disease and higher chance of offspring survival? Also, from a religious standpoint(something scoffed at in the article) it helps keep people on the straight and narrow.

This is cool and all, but it is i686 only. Just a heads up.

@Numbersyx: different paradigms, I guess. I keep expecting Canonical to announce a drag and drop .deb format every release. I like my package manager. make dependency hell slightly better.

This entire thing was a farce.

@Skid-Vicious: You are not seriously saying that all men are gear heads and no women are?

Lifehacker strikes again, I can't seem to pull their website up with any kind of reliability.

I hope it is better than the stupid magic touchpad thingy from apple. based on a side-by-side test in the Apple store, the magic touch isn't even close to the MacBook Pro's touchpad (which kicks ass). My biggest problem? It moves around too much. It isn't as heavy as my Logitech G5, so pushing on it with any force

so was there actually any words in this post? i, and seemingly everyone below, just say the +1 awesome pic of awsomeness.

So.... Which Gundam series was considered the best? I somehow missed this bus when it was popular at school, I have a childhood to catch up to!

@MisterStegs: was it that obvious? I should probably work on that. You know, when my professor laughed for ten minutes solid when someone asked if IT was a fulfilling job, I should have ran then. I have only been doing this for five years, I hope it doesn't get worse... _

See, I tell my users this all the time. I am not smart, but I can problem solve. That is literally all that separates all my coworkers and me. I don't stop at the new gate, I try to figure out the why then the how so i can pass the challenge and get on with my day. Most of my users stop at the first roadblock and
