The imaginary food from Hook was always a culinary goal.
Past that, a lot of those yogurt flavors in The Good Place would be amazing to try.

I believe Rooster Teeth did an Immersion episode about the greatest of video game meals, the cold, long forgotten turkeys scattered throughout Gauntlet.
I’d like to add something I think I picked up from an old AV Club article.
Home by Gavin Castleton. It’s a great album about a zombie apocalypse that turns out to be a metaphor for something else. Each song is a chapter in the story and drifts from some really catchy surf rock to growled spoken word poetry to a…
No Sicario?
I didn’t like Dredd. It felt too similar to The Raid: Redemption, but with more guns, psychedelics, and psychics. I agree with your analysis of it being a “just turn the hero loose” movie, making it different than the others but I just didn’t like it. In my opinion, I would switch this one for Deadpool.
If you listened to Serial, I feel you should give American Vandal a try on Netflix. It’s a great parody that becomes something more.
The Basement. It’s intense. You don’t have clues and monitors to help you out, they’re 45 minutes long, and have a mix of standard and very unique challenges. It is horror themed and has a lot of horror aspects that are handled very well but some people have lower tolerances for that kind of stuff. Do them in order,…
Which Komnata Quest rooms did you do? My wife and I did Maze of Hakaina and The Robbery that Changed the World. We liked Maze but thought it was really light on things to actually do, then went and did TRCTW which has almost no need for thinking as it’s all just laid out for you to do and felt like it was just a…
I would love to get a chance to run Nosferatu and their other rooms. Haunt people make great escape game people in my experience.
Honestly here are several chains that are worth it and some that are kinda terrible but somehow successful. I always talk about it in terms of beer. There are a few that are Miller Lite, cheap, watered down and available anywhere and some are regional favorites. But for me, The Escape Game is like Sam Adams,…
Oh, it’s not for everyone. But chunky over smooth any day for eating, smooth over chunky for cooking.
For me the important thing is to not toast the bread. You want the chunky peanut butter and crispness of the pickles, but if you add crisp toast, the chew gets really weird. This is my favorite sandwich, known in my house as “The Unspeakable Sandwich.”
I miss that show. He’s a pretty cool, anxious dude.
I think No Children is pretty strong too.
What is this escape room/castle and where is it?
Do you need to watch the first two series to start the third?
If I had a dollar for every time I wished for a worthy couch co-op successor to L4D2, I’d be able to buy two whole gaming set-ups to play with my wife.
My wife and I arranged our wedding reception so we could eat. We entered the hall after taking photos and everyone was already there. We immediately did our first dance, followed by going through the buffet which was planned to start with us. Then we got to eat our delicious food while everyone else was in line. It…
In agreement with most of these recommendations. Would like to add that the UK really excels at panel shows and that Taskmaster is by far some of the funniest, cleverest, and bizarre TV I’ve ever seen. It’s hard to come by in America (reddit is your friend) but it’s worth it.
Deep frying from scratch is where they start to fail. I love mine to death, but it’s a much better roaster and re-fryer than a deep fryer. One issue is the force of the air being blown just strips any wet layers off of it.
One trick is to spray the outer layer with some PAM or other spray oil to help get a crust, but…
