I had one a week ago to get through a particularly bad caffeine withdrawal headache. If you pour the soda first, it works better, unless you want a really good prop Guiness, because that head doesn’t go anywhere.

I still occasionally drink a concoction a late friend of mine came up with. You pour about a standard diner mug of black coffee into a glass with a Dr. Pepper, no ice. It’s black, tastes bitter and burnt, and not for everyone, but sometimes it is exactly what I want/need.
